NFL Off-Season Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Not really sure about the Bills. Trendy SB pick which is natural progression but this league rarely works that way.

Steelers' defense is legit. My guess ends up top 5 in the NFL if they keep this level of play up.

I'm not surprised by the Bills struggling here. They had a few miscues and blown opportunities to put the Steelers on their heels. Think the Bills would win this matchup if they played again in the postseason

They are still pretty far from a super bowl if week 1 is an indication of anything.

I think the Steelers gave the clear blueprint for how to beat the Bills. Rush four, don’t let Allen make any big plays, and force him to try and dink and dunk you to death.

I think we have a defense that could follow that game plan pretty well since we’ve got a good D-line.

I've thought that both the Bills and the Titans aren't actual contenders for a little bit now.

But, the amount that people are swinging the opposite way on Buffalo after one game is crazy. They're still one of the better teams in the AFC.

I just think they're going to struggle without a good defense or running game. It can't all be on Allen and Diggs.

You don’t think the defense is talented enough? I think it’s the complete disregard for the running game.

Buffalo's? I don't think they're one of the worst defenses in the league or anything, but they need a bright spot on that roster outside of Allen throwing the ball to Diggs. A running game, a dynamic defense, something--and I just don't see it.

Yeah, no idea why they’re so fascinated by unathletic RBs. First they draft Singletary and then Moss. They really lack a home run hitter in the run game.

I have Buffalo’s issue the same as the Cardinals last year.

They’re so run anemic that it’s really hard to keep the clock moving. With us, for example, against anyone sans KC, I’m really confident with a 9 point lead.

For both AZ, and Buffalo? No lead is safe until it’s just not plausible to get enough possessions. And that’s not a knock on Allen or Murray, both of which I’m incredibly fond of. The schemes suck to maintain leads.

Taking my Eagles fan wife to their home opener next weekend. Hopefully we won’t see Eagles fans starting a fight with a Sixers player LOL.

I did watch the Eagles game yesterday. Jalen Hurts looked fantastic. That team is going to be much improved as they have their O Line back and Devonta Smith looked smooth.

Hurts absolutely looked great, and I'm a fan, but I need to see him do it against defenses better than the Falcons before I buy in.

Feel bad for Matty Ice. No idea what the Falcons' plan was heading into this season. You draft Pitts instead of Sewell, but then you trade Julio and keep Ryan. And then you hire a coach who was known for designing an effective offense around Derrick Henry, but then the best RB you give him is Mike fucking Davis. They very much seem like a rudderless ship at the moment.
