NFL Week 14 (12/8/13): Browns (4-8) @ Patriots (9-3) [1:00 PM EST, CBS]

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
It's been a great sports weekend, think I'll go stab myself now

Isn't it a 15 yard penalty for throwing the ball into the stands? Shouldn't have Amendola been penalized and the yards assessed to the kickoff?

If I'm Chud, I'm opening up the checkbook. I bash the officials for a solid 5 minutes. Say my team was clearly the better team today and storm out of the presser.

Phantom grounding on Campbell. Brady does the same thing, no call. Bullshit roughness call on a guy trying to break up a TD. Then the horrendous 40 yard PI call to put the icing on top of the screw job.

Browns were jobbed in that one, don'tknow how else to put it. Sports entertainment at its finest.

No other way to describe it. Browns played hard. I am not mad at their performance against one of the best teams in the conference and league. But there were some absolutely HORRIBLE calls against the Browns. They never call that "Pass Interference". Campbell did not ground the ball. Man...

They will probably benefit more from the loss. Draft stock and hopefully some anger and fire lit under them for that bullshit. But damn I was into that shit and pissed at the end. That was a disgrace.

When you're at New England you can't put yourself in a position to allow the officials to decide the game. Because you know how that's going to turn out.

I wonder what it's like to live in a sports town in which every one of the teams gets ridiculous home cooking?

It was a bad call. There was some bad calls both ways throughout the game to be fair. But that's not pass interference. You got to wonder if the refs just panicked though, and flew the flag fearing not doing the same in Foxborough this time. I hate refs that get influenced by the crowd.

Hard loss to swallow, but on the flip side we're in a better position for a draft pick, and we clearly outplayed on of the better teams in the NFL. Just trying to give some positive.

There's bad calls in any game.

This was no different. It is what it is.

Did you guys actually want to win this game?

Um, yes.

The pass interference set them up PERFECTLY for that TD, it was inevitable after that.

PHIL DAWSON
HE WOULD HAVE HIT THAT
JESUS CHRIST FUCKC YOU BANNER

Wow

And hearing Chuck Boom talk about this is even more infuriating. He's clearly drunk.

The loss is better for the long run, but man, that sucked.

Impressive tank job none the less, all around. Those refs want Bridgewater throwing to Gordon next year.

I'm sure losing their last seven games and finishing 4-12 for the 90th straight season will pay great long-term dividends for this franchise. We've seen how beneficial the constant, unrelenting losing has been so far.

Beating the Patriots and going 5-11 would have made all the difference in turning the franchise around.

There are bad calls in any game, sure. How many of them move the ball down the field 40 yards and put the opposing team on the 1 yard line?

The Browns just had to keep them out of the end zone for about 1 minute. Refs make horrific call putting them on the 1.
