Armonty Bryant sure looks like a player. As long as he stays out of trouble, he could be a very valuable long-term piece for us.

It's just Jason Campbell has been really bad before. Like, real bad. But, yea, underestimated just how much worse Weeden was/is. Really, just running the wildcat all game would be better than Weeden.

I think that's convenient to say but I just don't see that as being the case in his career. Don't get me wrong, Campbell is a below average QB. Still, he's competent and always has been competent. If the goal was to win 8 games a year, Campbell will do just fine. If you want to win 10+, you need someone else.

His 1st 2 years he had QB ratings of 76 and 77. Every year after that he's been in the mid 80s. He's never thrown less TD than INTs in any season and he completes 61% of his passes. He's consistently average. Never super high and never low so I don't know where you are coming from with he's been really bad before.

If you want to point to his game with Chicago last year, that's a pretty small sample size. He was awful in that game but again, it was 1 of 73 games he's started.

It's pretty clear, under the coaching of Norv, that Campbell's biggest weakness *his long throwing motion* is getting much improved.

Norv has always been hailed as a QB guru. I think what we are seeing with Campbell is proof positive that he really is the guru he has been called. Nothing has ever been wrong with Campbell's decision making or his accuracy. It's always been that Campbell gets sacked far too much and took too long to get the ball out of his hand.

I'm pretty damn impressed with the coaching job and improvement from Campbell.

Am I crazy to think we will be very competitive and possibly win 6 of those 7 games?

6 wins is not only crazy, it would be borderline schizophrenic.

I do think it would be a shame if we couldn't finish the year at least 7-9.

I think they will go 8-8. Grab 2 to 3 against CIN and PIT. Then Jacksonville. Then either the Jets or an upset. Disappointing, again, because they were 0-4 when Weeden started. Four of their five losses were pretty winnable, especially the Kansas City and Detroit games.

Bess hangs onto the ball... They come out focused and not lazy vs. Detroit in the second half (still say the missed sack turned the game around)... This team could be 5-4 or 6-3 right now. Oh well.

I know one thing is clear - with good QB play, this is a pretty solid team. Anyone not feeling optimistic is a clown.

This win put the browns 4-1 against the defending Super Bowl champions in the last 6 years. They didn't face the Packers and blew that big lead against the Giants last year.

Unless the Saints, Colts or Bengals/Panthers (lol) win the Super Bowl this year we will not play the Super Bowl champ in 2014. Our 2014 opponents aren't doing so hot this year.

I think New Orleans wins it this year, so there ya go. Obvious choice is Denver, but when does the best regular season team ever win the title? Rarely. I feel like it's a team that gets hot late.
