We continue to have only cedi and the ghost of Dylan windler to play the 3. Brilliant drafting
You may not like it. But Lauri is the 3 and it worked. Problem is he's injury prone and we have no depth behind him.

Lauri at the 3 was a pleasant surprise but it should be a tool in the toolbox. Not our only hammer. You may not like it. But Lauri is the 3 and it worked. Problem is he's injury prone and we have no depth behind him.
Yeah the Cavs have quite a few players who offer redundant skills. I’d imagine that two of Okoro, Sexton and Levert will not be on the team overall it looks like Agbaji will be Okoro but shooting well from 3. That has value. The consensus safe pick, with the most desirable skillset in the league: high volume accurate 3pt shooting. I'll take it!
His 3pt threat will certainly open up the offense, and he's ready and polished enough to step in and help us get over the hump.
Put Sexton on the bench to get his 20pts/$20M super spark and trade Okoro (sorry buddy, I like you) and all will be just dandy as we rock the 3 seed next year to an ECF heartbreak series loss to the Bucks on a Mobley desperation heave 3 brick (random prediction, just for s&gs).
After some time to think about it:
- He's not as undersized as I thought. The wingspan makes up for it.
- I am glad Altman and the FO had a plan and purpose for picking him; it wasn't a BPA hail mary.
- Please turn into Anthony Edwards, Chris Duarte, or Bradley Beal and not be a Windler.
- I'm sad Austin Carr retired after last season. Listening to him try to pronounce or remember his name while commentating would've been legendary.
Agbaji in one corner, Markkanen in the other.. teams cant slip a corner defender down to blow up the Garland/Allen pnr like they were after the first part of the season with those 2 threats sitting openGetting a guy like Ochai, it is essential that are bigs become better at using their bodies to set screens.
In addition to the corner looks, he needs to be zigging and zagging back and forth to keep the defense moving and to get good looks on quick shots coming off screens. You see a lot of that in this video:

I don't think this has happened. Are you referring to the annual April Fool's Day post?- I'm sad Austin Carr retired after last season. Listening to him try to pronounce or remember his name while commentating would've been legendary.
Did I just learned about austin carr retiring in a ochai agbaji thread
His best spots were the corners, drilling 58.3% from the right and 41.2% from the left. He also averaged 1.27 points per catch and shoot jumper, which ranked in the 94th percentile.
