I think Bridges is mad underrated. If I am Phx I protect him over book in a KD trade

I think your crazy. Also they literally can't. Because he just signed an extension Booker can't be traded any time soon and KD only wants to go to PHX if Booker and CP3 remain on the team.

Book and KD are reductive. KD is a much better verison of what Book is. I think what Mikal does is harder to replace. But yes, you are correct that Book cannot be traded.

For me you don't trade away a legit number 1 scorer in their mid 20s. Are KD and Booker similar? Yes but KD is 34. In 4 years if you keep Bridges instead of Booker when KD retired your team will likely suck. If you still have Booker you still have a cornerstone left to continue to build around.

The ideal placeholder star is an exciting, charismatic scorer who can't win. He'll lead you to the lottery while flashing a great smile for the cameras.

I am not as high on Booker as you I think. Overvaluing him will be detrimental to Phx. As is, they are going to blow this up in a year or two because Sarver is a useless cheapskate

I'm not particularly fond of Booker. But 25+ PPG scorers don't come often. And that is what Booker is. He's a pure scorer. Without KD being involved. If you took Booker off the Suns and didn't replace him or you took Bridges off the team and don't replace him. Which one would hurt the Suns more? We know the answer and the answer isn't Bridges.

Probably, but if the scenario is you give up one of them for KD, i prefer dumping Booker.

So what are we hoping to see from Agbaji on Friday?

What are you hoping to see?

I’m hoping to see a little bit of his shooting on display and I would like to see how he plays with the ball in his hands.

I want to see Ochai aggressive and I want to see him generate defensive event plays on the box score. Cavs don't have many playmaking/floor general type players out there (at least on paper), so dunno what kinda shots will be available. If he can get a pump fake->fly by, dribble-into jumper to go, that would be nice.

Would be cool to see some two-man action between him and Isaiah.

Super hyped to watch some ball tomorrow. Keen to see what Agbaji can do out there. He won't play for the Cavs this season, but I'll also have my eye on Luke Travers. If you thought Delly in Cleveland was "white Jesus"-like madness, wait until you catch a glimpse of outback Ron Jeremy on the court.

I expect very little from Agbaji in summer league -- but i don't think it will mean much.

Players who require others to initiate their offense for them usually look terrible in summer league. Either:

a.) He will never get the ball, because Nembhard is either looking to score, or struggling overall. Then he ends up putting in like 2-5 stat lines, even if he is doing all the right things.
b.) He gets the ball, but out of rhythm or in the wrong place, and then ends up shooting a bad percentage.
c.) He gets frustrated and tries to initiate the offense, leading to turnovers because.... that's not his game.

Hopefully we see some steals and other flashy defensive plays, but good defense in the summer league is also hard to find.
