Then let them hang up.

He’s still just a wide receiver.

Where were you getting my back when I said depth is better for a QB like Baker than 2 top end receivers? lol

If we got OJB we'd still only have one top end receiver.

100% agree, but I think Calloway is on his way to becoming a pro bowl level receiver, you will see some huge leaps the next 2 years. He looked good for a rookie, especially one out of football the previous year.

I also think Jarvis is somewhat over rated on field, but off field he is what this team needs.

Where were you when I was trying to tell folks last off season that Jarvis was overrated?!?

I want us to get OBJ... next year. Giants will have less dead money and OBJ will be more pissed about how shitty they are.

The price (assets) can only come down from here.

I won’t be crazy about this deal for the long term, but it’d make 2019 a blast. I really don’t see it based on what I think the moneyball guys are up to.

To give some perspective, Calloway had the 3rd most receptions for a rookie last year behind Ridley playing opposite Julio and being thrown to by a former MVP and DJ More was the teams #1 Receiver unless you consider McCaffery a receiver.

Calloway essentially tied with Kirk across the board, who was his teams 2nd receiver while Calloway was 3rd.

All 3, Kirk, Ridley and More were 1st round picks and started all season. Plus all 3 played football last season.

Calloway is going to be very good. Rookie wide receivers suck, Calloway did not even come close to sucking. If we keep Jarvis, Calloway will pass him as the #1 receiver. Calloway because of the off field issues was an absolute steal. He not only has 1st round talent, he performed like a 1st round pick.

Saw some writer pitch 19/20 first plus Ogbab for OBJ 20/20 second.

And won’t lie, I don’t object. We’re talking about what everyone hopes to be a pick in the 20s for a pick in the 30s.

I would guess saying on field yes, but need to bring some stability to our receiving core.

Looking at last year, no Calloway, Ricardo and Higgins big question marks, Njoku was way up and down, etc, and we just paid a 3rd round pick for a rental QB plus our 1st overall pick was going to be QB, we had to bring in a stable vet.

It was a good pickup considering, but I didn't disagree he wasn't as good as the numbers, he was just a very good sure handed slot receiver, not really a #1 receiver, but he brings other leadership qualities.

It's a one-year deal. The money is irrelevant, and four million when we had damn near 100 in cap space we were never going to entirely spend is nothing.

I don't think you understand how cap space in the NFL works.

Every single dollar in rollover cap we have, we're going to be spending eventually.
