I just think it's a huge risk with Dwan. Ohio State told him there were complications with his academics, and he'd be unable to enroll early. Which to be frank, seems ludicrous. Dwan was committed to signing today. And he had no trouble at UGA....
Reading the tea-leaves, it seems OSU wants to push their chips into the table on Fields, and were hoping to keep Dwan as a "plan B" in my opinion. If they missed on Fields, they would've smoothed everything over with Dwan between now and the next signing period. They couldn't convince Dwan to go that route, and I don't blame Dwan one bit.
