i found this on deadspin, pretty funny stuff, dude did some girls sweet 16 for $200,000. like it says in the article, if you could have ANYONE at your party, and had a $200,000 budget, and pick Manning, you have got to be the most boring kid, ever. some of the funniest pictures i have ever seen though. at least he was a good sport with it.

So, less than a month after you've won the Super Bowl, you've got a bevy of entertainment options and endorsement opportunities. Or, you can just ignore both and sleep on a beach somewhere, maybe make out with balding country music stars your wife, just take it easy.

Or: You can accept $200,000 to show up at a Sweet Sixteen party.

According to one of the (anonymous) party attendees, Manning spent the past weekend as the main attraction at a girl's Sweet Sixteen party; he was rumored to have been paid $200 grand for a two-hour appearance. (Cedric the Entertainer was also there, which must have been confusing, since "The Entertainer" is also Peyton's nickname.)

According to an attendee:

"The first hour was the actual birthday ceremony which included Manning hiding behind a cake with a baker's hat on, then Manning took off the hat and surprised the birthday girl and the rest of the crowd. The second hour was Peyton standing next to a background and a professional photographer, where the entire party lined up to take pictures with him one by one. The pictures were printed and framed and given to the guests as they left."

We're sorry, but if you want Daddy to hire someone famous to attend your Sweet 16 party, and you pick Peyton Manning ... you're the lamest teenager we've ever seen. We love that of all the people in the above photo, Peyton's the one who looks like he's going through his awkward phase.

Some more pictures from the evening are after the jump.

look at dude to his left. lol.

Anyone else think he's a tool for doing it? Either do it for free or don't do it at all. The guy is worth over 100M and he's whoring himself out to birthday parties? What's the point?

nah, im sure he will just donate the money to something, Peyton is a good guy. and what if he didnt go, then it would be "Peyton is a a-hole for not going to some kids birthday party" sort of a double standard. and i mean honestly, what the hell could peyton manning spend his money on anyways?

Why would you not take the money?

because if i was worth 100 Million+ doing a sweet 16 birthday party for $200,000 is not high on my list of things i need to do. This is Peyton Manning, not Ryan Leaf.

but i can think of 10 people i would rather have at my party before Peyton.

Guilt??? Look at them, her dad is probably some oil tycoon. It's not like he is putting a flier out there that says hey, Ill show up at your bday for 200 grand.

They probably called his agent and that's the figure that was used...so be it.

If they are dumb enough to spend that kind of money, how can you bash Peyton?

200gs is 200gs no matter how you look at it..

It's still 1/5th of a mill..

It's an upscale house...a new Lambo..a yacht..

you really think Manning cares about a Lambo, i could see him buying like $200,000 worth of like hunting stuff. but odds are, he donated it.

Everything is relative...it's like me offering you $1 to come work my kid's party. You don't need it(i don't think:chuckles:), so why do it? When is enough, enough? Just my opinion, but it's a little tacky to me. If it was for charity that's fine. But now he's piling on his 9 figure net worth by working birthdays and bah mitzvahs, i just don't get it. On interest alone he is going to be worth over a half a billion when he dies. He can't spend the money he's already made. His contract was for 100M, he is doing endorsements for everything probably another 100M....now birthday parties too?

I guess what's really pathetic is the loser that paid it.

The one kid reminds me of the kid from the Bud Light commercial with Carlos Mencia.

Is he farting on her in this pic?

I would have been honored to do it for free. Thats like when 50cent did that girls sweet sixteen from 2 mill or something. Only sang 3 songs i think.

Donate it to the less fortunate.... He's already got more than he'll ever be able to spend...He's riding high on the SB win... He's very careful about his image, so I doubt he pockets this and takes the potential PR hit... There's no need to..
