I would also like to talk about the virus without politics. Especially after what happened today in Ohio.

There has been an incredible amount of Ohio-related info in the last two days. Nowhere to put it though.

So, do we have to go into the politics forum to read stuff about coronavirus? I thought the other thread was useful for basic information but really don't want to be looking at a political pissing match.

If that thread is to be opened again, you'll have to convince @Randolphkeys that people can behave and follow the rules.

We repeatedly warned people and gave second chances. We cannot spend all our time moderating a thread that is already duplicated in a Forum where politics contamination is not a concern.

Understood. Shame is that I hate politics. Ohio has updated their information every day around 2:00 pm. Having baseline info that is non-political is important to me. Could I PM the local tweets to be posted in the Off Topic Coronavirus thread each day?

Perhaps if people would stop reporting every post that was even partway political, that could happen.

But that probably won't happen even though there's virtually no way to discuss this that isn't somewhat political.
