Do Not Sell My Personal Information
5) James Posey
+Big Man with a jumper
-Getting Old
-Nothing to write home about on defense

+ Hometown is twinsburg
- Would probably take full MLE

Ok, so Mo Pete is 31 years old and has a 4 year deal, yet you guys want him here for his 8 pts.. but Carters 31 averages 20+ and has a 4 year deal but its hes to old?

Kinda confused here.

All I know is, we went from hoping for Michael Redd, Mike Miller, or Baron Davis, and now we're talking about Mo Pete, J.R. Smith, and Kyle Korver. I don't feel so good.

Do any of us actually expect to pick up Baron Davis? Mike Redd for expirings and a young big man who really did nothing to help our cause this year? now that the bucks are stock piling (or attempting in their own little way) talent theyre just gonna throw redd to their conference rival? Whoever is betting on that happening needs look at this realistically. Now i know kyle korver and Posey and Smith arent the big superstar we were hoping for (Mo Pete was just kind of an afterthought when i was going through this) but they are solid players and thats what we need solid, reliable players because as of right now we have 2 players who can consistently get points on the board.

Yes, I'm expecting to pick up a big name player. These expiring deals aren't just gonna expire on us without us using them.

um volcom stoner are you serious? posey is known for 3pt shooting and defense. How is he soft? he can guard 3-4 different positions. wow dude.

and jr smith actually played good in the playoffs.

I understand what your saying but I don't think role players will get us over the top. We have good role players, I want a co-star for LBJ.

We get Lebron any serious help, it's over for the rest of the league.

Ya i talked to a guy about that on the page before. The page i was getting my stats from was 06-07 playoffs not 07-08 my mistake. About the whole we're getting a superstar thing, I just don't see it happening. I'll probably be wrong and then you laugh at me but i don't see any gm giving us the final piece to the puzzle. The east knows with another offensive star that we will consistently find ourselves in the finals so they aren't going to want to give it to us. And for western stars we have no quality players to offer them and the west is so competitive that alot of the teams aren't going to want to give up one of their star players. sorry about the posey J.R. mixup again.

As far as #2 options...

I think you can rule out any Eastern Conference team because I don't think any of them will want to help out LeBron and the Cavs... And you can rule out any team that is trying or will be under the cap in 2010, because they won't want to help persuade him to stay in Cleveland...

You also have to factor in a team that is rebuilding, not re-tooling... Because we have the assets for rebuilding...

With that factored in, here's the possible guys:

Mike Miller
Corey Maggette
Ron Artest

Then in the "maybe, not likely but not impossible" pile:

Baron Davis
Elton Brand
Allen Iverson
Lamar Odom

As far as just guys that will be on the trade block, that we might be interested in:

Kirk Hinrich
Anthony Parker
Raymond Felton
Andres Nocioni
Mo Williams
Gerald Wallace
Jason Terry
Kyle Lowry
Luke Ridnour
Earl Watson
Al Harrington
Cuttino Mobley
Vlad Radmanovic
Luke Walton
Boris Diaw
Leandro Barbosa

I don't see any of the guys you mentioned on the block...

And really, the I don't like many guys on the list I mentioned... I'd take Walton, Barbosa, Terry, Nocioni and Parker...

Here are the guys i would want...
Al Harrington - PF who can score.
JR Smith - Great 3 point shooter, explosive dunker.
Vince Carter - Ehh Im just putting him on the list because its VC
and Anthony Parker - Prob. my favorite on the list, he can create his own shot and is a great shooter.

I think my theory about teams not wanting to help create the next dynasty is beginning to ring true.

Everything should be about getting JR Smith here...Forget everybody else right now...JR SMITH...JR SMITH...JR SMITH!
