This kid wasnt drafted last night and he is a pretty good athlete. I think he was listening to the wrong people, but as you may or may not know, he played on the same AAU team as Slam Dunk winner Josh Smith and #1 Pick Dwight Howard. Now If a player isnt drafted, you can sign him right? If we could sign him, i think it would be a smart move, since we werent able to draft anyone.

do they sign these guys or just invite them to play with you during a summer league? i was under them impression that you invite them to summer league then determain whether or not to sign them.

Most get summer invites or a non-guaranteed contract like a second rounder.

I would def look to get Morris, Jawad Williams, and I will post more when I get a good list of who went undrafted.

I wouldn't mind seeing Matt Walsh being invited to summer league. He might be a bit out of control at times, but he has a good shot, can slash and drive, and is a pretty good free throw shooter. John Lucas might be another one to give a shot.
