Pre Season Game #1 - Charlotte Bobcats @ Cleveland Cavaliers 10/5/2010

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I would also like to point out how awesome it was that when these guys made big mistakes they weren't ripped off the court Mike Brown style. I know it's preseason but I recall Scott saying that he doesn't want his guys looking over at the bench after they make a mistake. That I think should help develop our young guys who rarely got to sniff the court after a miss-que. The pressure is off this season and I can't wait to see what's going to happen!

Why no Eyenga. I'm going tomorrow. I hope he gets some PT.

Watching that shit is depressing.

I know what you mean, but that was just an experimental lineup. Most of the people that came to the Q weren't even in the seats for tip-off, so it was a lot quieter in the arena too.

Wait till Mo, Hickson and Varejao are in the starting 5. The intro will get better as the regular season comes around.

Oh, so sorry we didn't sell out a pre-season game. I don't think any Cleveland team has sold out a pre-season game, no matter how good. :chuckles:

That Ahmad cat is going to be even more annoying this season with poor crowds....

I like how he said: "Cavaliers fans in the building" and the camera proceeds to pan down to show like 7 people in that one section....:chuckles:

Are you going to be a Cocksucker all season? I would like a heads up. F*ck off!

I am pumped for this season and it is a great relief to know that even without MO and Verajo the team still pulled off a win!
Yes it is just a preseason game and we cant read to much into it but I still can't help but be thrilled that they refuse to go down without a fight.
Scoring seems to be a little issue but the defense seems to be there still. That was one of my biggest fears is that the defense was going to suffer in the new system. The scoring production will increase as guys get more comfortable on the floor. Hell if Jamison can shoot that horribly and the team still manages to pull it off is very impressive.

i went to the game last night. had a good time. glad to see the Cavs win. :)

I think these guys might be really deadly on defense. Charlotte was running and getting easy baskets against the D in the first half, and then like usual the clamps came down and the Bobcats couldn't do anything in the 2nd half. The highlights and radio I heard really showed how active they were on the defensive end. Scott has got the team very excited.

The versatility of our small lineup is still good with Jawad and Moon. You don't get a drop off in rebounding, but you get speed and scoring punch. Hickson at the 5 is fine against most teams, and he will outrun everyone at that position. I think that will be very useful this year. It was devastating last year, but Mike brown wanted Shaq or Z in all the time.
