Yeah I am actually excited by Scott's method of wearing them out and then teaching basketball. That way when they are tired in the game they will still make good decisions. I have no idea how long until we see what we are really going to get. Especially if any of the young guys get significantly better this year, it could be the end of the year before we see the real product.
Looking at all the factors involved with the game and that at halftime the team was leading by 1 is still a great learning experience for the team and they were pushed to the limit by having the prior practice ( every real season game will be that much easier after this enormous task ). Developing Eyenga and Samuels may be more important than I first considered as well and they both got some minutes. The team can ill afford to try and develop players in the d league this year ,the real training can only be done against the highest quality opponents in a real NBA game.
