Highlights can be seen here: http://broadband.nba.com/cc/playa.php?content=video&url=http://boss.streamos.com/wmedia/nba/nbacom/recaps/recap09_pre032_clebos.asx&video=blank&nbasite=cavaliers

1. Scalabrine really really really sucks!
2. That Mo dish almost made me hard.. just kidding... but seriously.
3. Can't believe the game ended on a no-call foul. Preseason, but still.

Oh Man! Did you see in that highlight reel where Bill Walker dunks a rebound and then pushes LeBron in the chest as he starts running down the court?!?!? (2:08 or so)
Rookie has some cahones but he has to be nuts! The last thing Bill Walker needs is to annoy the king. I would hate to get on his bad side, and i don't have to play against him. :chuckles:

yeah, ask deshawn stevenson how that went...

Sounds like Wally got his swagger back. Hickson is dissapointing like most were prepared for and Mo looks like a god in a Cavs uniform. Good to know.

Is LBJ's free throws looking good? I just want to know because he could raise his ppg by two or three if he was consistent from the FT line.

In watching the highlights of the two games, Kinsey made some decent shots in Game One.

The battle for the final spot on the roster could be interesting. At the same time, is there anyone on the bubble for another team that might fit in better here than anyone we are holding on to for the time being? Jawad Williams seems to provide the most possible upside.

Any dunk I see Ben Wallace throw down makes me happy.

MB said "TK might start next game, he played well tonight"...oh lord

Kinsey's shot was bad last night, but he did pace the team in rebounding last night with 5 boards.

I think some people are being overly harsh on his defense. There were defensive breakdowns, but I don't think those were all Kinsey's fault.

The turn-overs were bad. Mike Brown seems to be expirimenting with Kinsey starting the offense, and Kinsey doesn't seem all that comfortable with it.

My analysis from watching the Cavs for the first time since acquiring Mo:

It's preseason. Let me get that out of the way first of all. These stats, scores etc. are useless, because preseason does not reflect how the regular season will be one bit. With that said, I'm going by what I seen from the players, as opposed to their stats.

Mo is lighting fast. I knew he was fast by watching him play in Milwaukee, but seeing him push the ball so quickly even on opponent makes last night had me very impressed. Numerous times he'd beat everyone up the court, including most of the Celtics players, and they'd have no option but to foul him, or it would be an easy layup (which is why Mo shot 6 free throws in the first quarter). The thing is, Mo is a good free throw shooter, so it's punishing teams either way. Putting other teams in foul trouble early, and driving really puts a lot of pressure on the defense, which will result in defensive breakdowns, which means easier points for our team, mainly Mo and LeBron. Defensively, Mo needs work. I seen a few times that he'd get beat by his main, and then he'd try to steal the ball, and get called for the reach in. With his quickness, he should have no problem staying in front of his man, he just needs to work on it.

Another player that impressed me was Andy. His form on his jumpshot looks much better, and he's still pesky as always. He runs the floor pretty well for a big man, and that could be huge playing with an up tempo PG like Mo.

One thing I didn't like, was our defense. I know it's preseason still, and we have time to work on things, but surprisingly, we need to work on our defense a little bit. We allowed the Celtics to shoot a very high percentage, and score far too many points in the paint. I'm sure once it's for real (regular season) and everything is slowed down we'll look much sharper, but still; you don't want a team shooting high percentages and scoring on you in the paint.

Another thing I didn't like at times was our halfcourt offense. Sometimes, it looked good, with body movement, and ball movement. Other times, it looked like we didn't even acquire a good PG in the offseason, with people just dumping it to LeBron and clearing out of the way. Sure, with LeBron's skillset you can get away with that. However, we should be seeing more body movement, and cuts to the basket. I barely seen screens set for Mo so he could come off and hit the jumper. Mo is a terrific shooter, so why not set some screens to free him up ala Rip Hamilton?

All in all, I was impressed. Like I said, it's preseason, so I'm not really taking anything out of it, except how our rotations and offense looked with our starters in. We still have time to work on things, and I fully expect them to do so.

Just watched the highlights and that Mo dish to Wally was so pretty. I think I came a bit watching that.

Just from looking at highlights and boxscores, I think its safe to say Vernon Hamilton is a long shot to make the team.

I think the final roster spot is a toss up between Dupree and Jawad.. and I think Dupree has him beat.
