Random thoughts:
- Injuries man. Wtf. I wanted to see Grant. I'm not surprised at Ward being hurt again.
- Cooper and Moore are going to be invaluable when Watson scrambles. Cooper knows how to get open. Moore's too quick and fast to fully cover; he's going to break a few this season.
- Starting defense looks absolutely nasty at times. Browns now have depth on defense and it may be the key to unlocking what we all knew was there. Schwartz is going to take that to another level hopefully.
- Offensive line still concerns me. Conklin, Jones, and Wills all concern me for different reasons. Conklin because he's always getting hurt, Wills has effort/motor issues, and Jones is a project. If the Browns want to maximize Watson's passing capabilities, he needs reliable tackles.
- I take back everything I've said about Cade. I'm perfectly okay with getting an established vet kicker and living with the results. If they are terrible, then get another vet. Cycle through kickers until one works. The pressure on the Browns is going to be high. A vet kicker will handle pressure and cycling better.
