It concerns me that we were down by so many points in the fourth with Brand and Dalambert not playing. I'm not nearly as excited by this win as i was five minutes ago before i read the summary. It is easy to play well against a team that has two of its best players on the bench.

Let's be even in our observations here:

Yes, Dalembert and Brand didn't play....

But the comeback, was done without BOTH of our 2 best players (LeBron & Mo)....

While Miller & Iggy both played.

So it was a good comeback, orchestrated by Delonte & Varejao, and helped by JJ

There's no groove coming...The fact of the matter is Sasha Pavlovic is not a good basketball player whatsoever...I don't get it, I just don't understand what some see in this cat ??

He had one decent 3 or 4 month stretch in 5 years of NBA basketball, and once teams got to see what he was about, he was easily neutralized from the opposition after he went around the league once... He can't shoot, he has a below average outside shot, he has no mid range game, he can't handle the ball, can't slash all that well, can't dribble pull up and is a mentally weak player...The only thing I like about this guy is he has the size to be a nice defender (when he decides he wants to be).. Outside of that, he's a fringe NBA caliber player that for whatever reason constantly jumps off the wrong foot on his dunks...

There's not going to be this epiphany with the guy where he just all of a sudden becomes a solid player and regular contributor.... He's just not any good...He'll show flashes here and there, but that's not going to get it done... Hell, at this point, I would kill if he'd become a Ron Mercer type...

Just wish some damn Europe team would have offered him a boat load of cash...

How the hell did he shoot 45/40 in a season is beyond me it may be his astounding 22mpg total he posted in his contract year lol. It seems every shot since that year has front rim's name on it. Oh and his dribble drive pullup is terribad

Does anyone else think Mike Brown sexually assaulted PAvs? That is the only reason I can think of for Pavs to start. Pavs said "i'm going to the cops you big meanie" and the Brown said "like hell you are my Starter" Then Pavs and Brownie went at it again. Hmmm wonder if this story has any truth to it??

The problem is pavs is the only one capable of guarding most sg in the league. West is to small, kinsey is to skinny (will get abused on the blocks) and wally has no knees(but his shot seems to be back). Starting pavs makes sense. But limmiting him to 6 or 7 shots a game also makes sense. West obviously needs to play 30+ mins while I cant see playing pavs more than 25. For years I thought av was our second best big, but he always came off the bench, so having west off the bench would be no different. Seems to work out ok for the Spurs with Ginobili.

make sense...but we really need improve with our bigs & a solid 2guard to make lebron's route to the ship easy!

I realize Delonte is the best out of the 3 guys trying to get that starting spot, but do you really think he can guard a lot of opposing STARTING 2 guards? Just using tonight as an example, Iguodala would torch him. I think he is best suited coming off the bench.

Have you watched Delonte play against 2 guards in the past? His 2nd and 3rd year with the Celtics he frequently played opposing teams 2guards. He holds his own pretty well. I'm anxious to see how he holds up physically playing against 2guards but there is no doubt he can guard them. His only weakness against 2guards is height but he makes up for it with his long arms. He is a strong yet lean guy. I much rather have a player like Kobe Bryant posting up and doing turn around jump shots half the game than creating off the bounce and driving. Thats just me though.

Iggy? I think Delonte can guard Iggy in half court. Iggy gets alot of his offense off the break and defensive breakdowns from him being so athletic. Iggy can't shoot outside. Delonte may have problems with athletic tall bigs who can shoot from the outside ala Jason Richardson/Kobe. If a shooter knows the defensive player can not block your shot no matter what, then its not a good matchup. With the height Richardson and Kobe get on their jumpers, it might not be the best matchup. However, like I said before, if Kobe is shooting outside all game, i'll take it.

I will also like to point out that if West and Mo are playing together, depending on how bad or good Mo is defensively, Mike Brown may elect to make West guard the Point Guard and Mo guard the 2.
