Preseason Game #5 | 76ers @ Cavaliers, 7:30 PM (ET)

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Cavaliers forward Darnell Jackson has experienced a non-displaced fracture of his left wrist and is expected to be out the next five to six weeks. His status will be updated as appropriate.

there goes the season :chuckles:

Actually, he might have a hard time finding minutes now, as he will be 6 weeks behind JJ, and that might be enough for JJ's talent to keep him ahead of Jackson. The one advantage Jackson had is he was more nba ready, but now this give JJ the windo from day one to be in the rotation.

I'll be at the game--thanks to Chief--and will try to give a recap of what I saw from tonight's game...

I bet Mike Brown is pissed bout this injury. He loooves Darnell Jackson and everyone was sayin how he was actually gonna start out gettin more minutes than JJ.

He might be a rookie but itgs another part of our thin, old and inexperienced frontcourt taken away.

If things get much worse we gonna see a trade pretty soon for a bigman.

Thats terrible news for Jackson. He was having a steady start to the season and was pushing for a spot in the opening 12 man roster.

Pavlovic back starting tonight. Coach Brown knows his shit!

Update: Brand did not travel with the 76ers to Cleveland for Saturday’s game, the PhillyBurbs reports.

Recommendation: Brand’s wife gave birth to their first child on Thursday, and he opted to stay with his wife for the weekend. We know what to expect from Brand. His absence impacts Mareese Speights and Samuel Dalmbert more than anyone else on the team. Dalembert is also missing the game because of a sore knee. Speights has been excelling when given floor time. If he capitalizes on this extra time, he could cause the 76ers to contemplate starting him over Dalembert.

Speights and Reggie Evans I assume start here. This kills their front court depth tonight. They'll likely play alot of small ball with Thadius Young likely to play at the 4, Iguodala up to the 3 spot with Loius Williams and Willie Green seeing plenty of time at guard.

Updated depth charts (I'm guessing about the Sixers' starters)...

Cavs:

Ilgauskas / Varejao / Wright
Wallace / Hickson / J. Williams
James / Kinsey / Dupree
Pavlovic / Gibson
M. Williams / West / Hamilton

out: Szczerbiak, Jackson, Snow

Sixers:

Evans / Ratliff / Reiner
Young / Speights / Marshall / Robinson
Iguodala / Rush
Williams / Green
Miller / Ivey

out: Brand, Dalembert, Smith

Any news about Wally????Is he on the bench or not????

OMFG Mo just got ejected, and not being able to see wtf is happening is annoying, I hate this audio only crap.

All I know is that Mo got thrown out the game, he picked up two T's. Pretty stupid referee, throwing players out in a preaseason game.

Sasha had a couple of open looks but hasn't been able to knock it down. No big deal, its just the start of the game.

here are the bad boys...WALLY and DELONTE....

Wally World, Wally just checked in!
