Rashard “Hollywood” Higgins

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
He has 15, 14, 33, and 29 snaps in the games after he apparently refused to go in, which Jason Lloyd was the only one to report. Last two games he has gotten the 3rd most snaps at WR behind Odell and Landry.

They seem to forget to put the PDF of the snap counts up with the article this week.

i have no idea then.

Higgins isn't a unique receiver, he isn't going to cause matchup problems. I think he is someone that could thrive if the QB and OC are looking for him but I don't think that's the case right now. Baker and the coaches are trying to get the ball to Odell, Jarvis, Hunt, and Chubb. Hunt has basically taken the role of being #3a receiver while Higgins is #3b.

Guys like Hodge, Carlson, Seals-Jones, etc are guys that have more unique skill sets or size and are coming in for specific reasons which is why they seem to be making plays while Higgins isn't.

The group of receivers has gotten better thru out the season. I wasn't a fan of the group that they decide to roll with at the beginning of the season and preseason. Outside of Odell and Jarvis, it was a bunch of regular receivers that brought nothing new to the table. They were never going to compliment Odell and Jarvis.

Dude is a baller and deserves a contract extension.

His chemistry with Baker is undeniable and he catches everything.

Didn't he have a pretty egregious drop yesterday?

He did but I believe everyone had a drop, with DPJ's first drive one being the worst imo.

He still makes difficult catches regularly.

It definitely was a drop but I wouldn't call it egregious. It was more of a taking your eyes off the ball to get away from the defender drop and not a stone hands Braylon Edwards drop.

Translation: Fans like Higgins, so it's forgivable. Dude's a hard worker, gets us, and catches everything. It's not like Braylon Edwards, who fans hated since he was drafted. Stonehands! scUM!

Sort of. I don't judge all WR drops the same. there's different categories of drops for me. Like that bullet pass that Landry dropped yesterday. It will go down as a drop that was right on the hands but it was a pass that did have more zip then what was needed. Still a drop though.

Then there's the Ted Ginn type of drops where the ball is literally falling in his lap and he's behind the defender. Can't drop those.

True story: Ted Ginn is the fastest human I've ever ran with in person. When I was in 9th grade only 3 times was I not the fastest person on the field or on the track. All 3 times Ted Ginn was faster. He ran a punt back on us and he fielded it at like the 20 yard line and he was at the 50 before our kicker was. On the track he was so fast that it looked like he was going to burst into flames while he was running.

I didn't want to admit it to myself but after he ran that punt back I started really rethinking my chances of ever playing in The NFL. I started thinking if any of the players are this fast then this just isn't going to work out for me lolololololol. I'm positive I'm not the only person he's ran past that revaluated their career choices immediately after.

Ricky Powers was my reality check and he only had a cup of coffee in the NFL, but he was so much better than me it wasn't even funny.

I defended Earl Boykins for about three possessions. I had London Fletcher defend me in hoops for about five minutes.

Both made me dump sports altogether in college and smoke mad bongs.

That Glenville team with Ginn and Troy Smith was ridiculous. All of Ohio High School football was crazy that year. Warren Harding could've won the whole thing if their coach just gave the ball to Maurice Clarett every play. Every time they called a pass it was a relief to the opposing team.

Massilon had the always-overrated Justin Zwick at QB.

And, Ignatius, behind Nate Szep at QB and Anthony Gonzalez at WR, won the whole thing.

Eat that ass: I forgot Donte Whitner was on that Glenville team too.

Did you ever run with @sportscoach's brother? If so I'm calling complete bullshit on that story.

London Fletcher's younger cousin played on the football team with me. He was one of the family members that got jumped and arrested after fighting at the stadium after a game when he was playing with Washington.

I ran into him in Walmart one day and he was like did you hear about the fight at the stadium with my cousins family? I was like yeah and he was like man they jumped me. I laughed lolololololol. He was cool about it but the way he explained it was funny as hell.
