I think the Pattinson Batman character, being so early in his career, is telling a great story. He thinks that the Batman is the only way he can help Gotham, and yet at the end he finds that there needs to be a symbol of hope.

I assume, if/when the next movie comes out, he's going to be more Bruce than Batman, or it will be based more on Bruce Wayne helping. There has already been hints at the orphanage and other such things.

It is the most subtle Batman to date, with easily the best Batman. It showed him being a real detective, which is something pretty much all the other movies avoid (ironic that it was actually Forever that maybe did the detective Batman best before this one).

If you are looking for a compelling Bruce Wayne, this one isn't going to be it. He's still trying to figure out that side. There is so much potential in future stories here, I hope they don't DCEU it and fuck it all up.
Yeah I agree. I always wondered what David fincher would have done with batman and now we know.

Dark Days

Documentary exploring the lives new York's underground homeless population.

Really fucking good. Somewhere out there is a "where are they now?" But I can't find it

The Batman is for the real hardcore Batman people. I can definitely see how casual fans might not be into it as much as say Dark Knight, Rises, etc. For me this is by far the best film. Absolutely nailed the atmosphere, every performance was incredible, especially this depiction of Bruce Wayne, great story, impeccably paced, could go on and on. Absolutely loved it . . .

I'm not big into the whole series and Batman universe, but I heard the movie was 3 hours long. My wife and I loved Dark Knight and Rises, think this is worth a trip to the theater?

Absolutely. My opinion on long films is if you're enjoying it don't you want it to be long? Honestly, it didn't feel that long though. Great one to see on the big screen . . .

I'd say it depends, personally. I'm a huge batman guy and I loved it, but my wife was kind of so-so on it.

If you're willing, I think it's the most true to story comic film I've ever seen. The atmosphere and aura around Bats in that movie was just legendary, but you have to understand going in that you're mostly watching a crime film and not an action movie.

It was a good watch but not special, nothing as must see as like dune or rises.

If those movies are 95% on rotten or meta, I give this a 70-75

I thought The Batman was great until I rewatched TDK.

Still pretty good. Id give it a B-. It nailed the tone and atmosphere and Batman's story arc was actually pretty good here.

I loved Batman. Probably the 2nd best Batman film (after the Dark Knight). I appreciate the relative use of tech for this version when compared to older versions. Much more realistic. Rob Patt was a surprisingly good Batman but a mediocre Bruce Wayne

Deep Water - 3/10

This movie has no redeeming qualities other than Ana de Armas.

Review is spot on. I kept waiting for the part that made it a thriller. At least it was free to stream.

X - 8/10 for a horror movie, 6/10 for a regular movie
