You're taking the wrong PED.I've gone soft on the PED era...

Andruw Jones was incredible, and then, suddenly, forgettable.
I never figured out what went wrong there, but in all fairness I never did dig too deep.
PEDs
Oh, I was never on PEDs, I was just a fatass. (Although now I'm in the best shape of my career.)A little bit on the heavy side once he got to 30.
I blamed PEDs too, until i turned 30.

It's a minor detail, but I'm not wearing homer glasses when I say Kenny Lofton was a better player than Andrew Jones. He got on base more often than a number of guys already in the HOF, and he was better running the bases once he got on. Defensively? Forget about it.
I also vote Bonds/Clemens. I want Harold Barnes removed with a police escort.
Agreed, and I also dig the Frank Zappa "Trouble Every Day" reference in your sig, Keys.
I had to turn on sigs just to see that. It's a song that remains timeless. I look forward to the end of race riots in the U.S. so I might stop thinking about how fucking good it is for a few years. But... way off topic.
Kenny Lofton is just so underrated by the baseball stat buffs. He didn't hit many homers, I get it. But his defense in centerfield and his effectiveness in the leadoff was a notch below Ricky Henderson. He was likely the best pure athlete in the outfield since Bo Jackson at the time, yet is never connected to 'roids. Yet he is still sitting there, not really in the conversation for Cooperstown, while Rock Raines is in. For me, it doesn't make sense, aside from the fact he was such a private and quiet dude.
Bonds and Clemens only.
Lots of great players otherwise, and Vizquel’s history of domestic violence eliminates him, for me.
Why Bonds if that's the reason for no on Omar, given Bonds has also been credibly accused of domestic violence?
