Ricky Rubio - Take the Money and Limp

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
This game is right up there with the Lester Hudson heroics, Rookie Dion having what would be the best shooting night of his career, and the Shaun Livingston/Luke Walton/Mo Speights bench mob in terms of random performances winning regular season games.

I'm scared.

Rubio is one of the bigger reasons why the Cavs are so good right now.

We need a wing to further shore up and complete this roster, regardless. Rubio is not here to stay long term. What the heck do we do when we overachieve with him on the roster and then he leaves us and we are stuck with a gaping hole at the PG and wing spot? I have no idea.

He is a stabilizing force and is huge for the team, especially when he is on.

Completely agree with this. I've been saying all season that he's the best player on the team, no joke. I'm scared of what this team will look like without him and am hoping Garland is absorbing everything possible from Ricky to help fill that void when (if? PLEASE DON'T LEAVE ME RICKY :praying:) he leaves.

It's amazing how much better everyone on the team looks when you have a true point guard running the offense and getting the ball to guys in their spots. I think a lot of Cavs fans (and NBA fans in general) underestimate just how good he is.

Valid concern.

This is the issue.

I hope his presence and guidance will make our guards go to that next level and evolve from there. But it's more than that...we all know we are missing some pieces. My dream scenario is playing really fucking well and still getting a good pick to fix the holes, but this may not be in the cards. I just hope we don't find ourself regressing the year after and still finding ourselves short of wings and what not.

They better not dump him at the deadline
