Robin Lopez: Joining his twin

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Great signing IMO.

1) We really needed a legit backup center. Most guys would want too many minutes but Lopez knows how to play a role and will slot in much better than Davis or Brown when injuries happen.
2) Vet minimum so he's cheap but another guy who can help mentor our young squad.
3) Without Varejao on the team our hair lineup has really been missing something.
4) Maybe he'll murder Sir CC.
Lopez is cheap because he's old and not very good anymore. It's not like we stole him from someone.

Anyway, I really hoped we'd bring in a backup center who can at least make a corner 3 now and then. A guy like that can give you a different look if you need it. As it is, we're just going to be rotating non-shooters, which makes us predictable, and that makes things harder for Garland and the guys who can shoot.

Him and Sir’Dom Pointer should get a room.

Fuck you. How dare you? At least tag me properly. I don't complain more than I should. You aren't even an active participant. You come in every month, throw in a one liner about Lebron or a poster you dislike and then disappear into the shadows. Go on then...

Here comes another non-shooter! :celb (13):

Oh man. Whatever. RoLo is an entertaining character... but he's strictly a low post dude and can't switch anywhere close to the perimeter. He will NOT ever, EVER be high up in pick and roll defense. A drop guy through and through.

But seriously, our whole 5 rotation is completely unable to provide any spacing. If you don't think that's scary, I don't know what to tell you.

Perplexing move. Why not just hold on to Moses Brown? Neither guy can/will shoot but Moses is 27 years younger and can get up and down the floor.
Because Moses was a waste of space offensively (even after grabbing an offensive rebound)! His offensive skill inside was just a notch below TT’s! No ability to finish in the paint. This is a very good signing.

Isaiah Mobley can hit a corner 3.

Wasn't implying we did lol. I don't mind getting someone for the vet min, we're still a developing team, not a contender.

Any names? Not sure who we could've grabbed with the money we have available.

I *finally* get to reuse the old "Wild Thing" wigs they used to give out at the arenas...

Love this signing. Ropez is a great drop big and sets some really good screens. One of the best box out guys in the league too. Combine all that with his great locker room value and his experience as a Dungeon Master, and we are sure to get some epic DnD sessions running this year. He will be a better version of what JaVale was for us a few years ago. Love this signing. Super value at the vet min.

Also, screw shooting. You can learn that shit. Our young guys will develop the spacing we need. Lets get our vets in there (besides K Love) to mess stuff up down low.
