Round 1 Game 1 | Cavs vs Pistons | April 17, 2016 | 3:00 PM EST

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Seems like that was Detroit's best shot and the Cavs took it in stride. Felt to me like the Cavs approached this game as more of a formality than actual threat.

I could be wrong but after playing as hard as they did and still losing the pistons may feel defeated

We will see tho
As a basketball fan I want a lot of tightly contested hard fought games.

As a Cavs fans I want blowouts in route to a sweep

Good game.

As expected, the refs didn't call Lebron for some fouls they could have.

Cleveland's big three all played well in Game 1.

Jackson didn't get the Pistons into their sets fast enough down the stretch. Jackson's not in the same class as Isiah Thomas, but he's got the potential to be better than Chauncey Billups.

This was a great initial coming out for these young new Pistons on a national stage. If Detroit was playing Toronto, things would slide under the radar.

But people are paying attention to this series.

These young new Pistons are getting their seasoning like how the Bad Boys and and Going to Work teams did.

Looking forward to seeing how Game 2 unfolds.

Detroit shot the lights out and we still managed to win a tough one against a disciplined SVG team. I'll take it. Defensively, we need to improve, but as long as we continue to play this way we've been playing, we should take them out in no more than 5 games. This series will probably go the same way as the Celtics series last season. Except hopefully there are no injuries this time around.

Knock on wood.

Don't worry, I think LeBron will get to the line more next game.

I will take a playoff win no matter how it comes but I gotta see more out of the others. It was beautiful to see the big 3 go for 81 out of the 106 points but I want to see someone else offensively contribute. A win is a win and it was a nice tough test to start the postseason, I just want some more distribution.

Leave it to the Pistons to think LeBron is getting away with fouls in a game he doesn't shoot a free throw until almost 4 minutes into the 4th quarter. If you're going to get away with holding, hacking, and bumping LeBron, you're going to have LeBron get away with pushing off. Trust me, you don't want the alternative. Refs actually call it fair and LeBron is shooting 20 free throws and Drummond plays 2 minutes.

He doesn't play. He was 7-12 in the last game of the season, I believe, with three blocked shots when given a chance? It would be a HUGE mistake leaving him off the floor this postseason.

He was playing against 3rd string players in that game though. In that scenario he was the superior player on the court for either team and he should've posted those type of numbers. Whatever is going on with Mozgov this year has to do with Mozgov, not Lue or the rest of the team. Personally, I wanted to see Channing Frye get some run out there yesterday. Especially with the way they were moving the ball around the perimeter.
