I believe the Cavs only need to look at the Spurs/Mavs series for a warning. Some said the Mavs made the biggest and best trades at the break. Some say the Cavs made the biggest splash. As we sit here, Mark Cuban spent millions and built a team he thought could win it all. Some picked Dallas to come out of the West. They get beat in the first round to a team who is aging and plays good D and likes to play mostly at half court.
Guess what? That describes the Celtics as well. It also describes the Cavs owner Dan Gilbert as well. Him and Cuban are very similar in many ways.
The Cavs better be ready to play. ALL players will have to step up as I also believe the Celtics will focus on limiting the impact LeBron will have on the game. We cannot allow Boston to steal one of these first two games. We just can't.
GO CAVS!
Hi to all. I'm a new user of this forum and i'm italian! Tonight i'd like to see a very spectacular game! Go CAVS!
PS: Sorry for my English

Game Preview – Saturday May 1, 2010 – Boston Celtics @ Cleveland Cavaliers – Game 1
Each team disposed of their 1st round opponent in 5 games, showing their superiority. Only 1 team will get to move on to the Eastern Conference Finals. In a rematch of a round 2 series from 2 seasons ago, this will probably not be the epic battle it was in ‘08. The Cavaliers are a better team than 2 seasons ago, Boston is 2 years older, and the Cavaliers are out to get revenge for that Game 7 loss in Boston. Boston will not lie down, however. They are as hungry as ever to get 1 more ring before the so-called “Big 3″ are finished, and they will not go down without a fight.
From Windy. Not good news on the officiating front. Eddie F. Rush is awful.
Play less shaq.
play a bit of z
play more of jj
play alot of av.
Word...
Rush: 4-3
Phillips: 1-3
Spooner: 4-1
Total: 9-7
Those are the regular season records. Rush is 1-0 (game 1) and Phillips is 0-1 (game 3) in the playoffs. Spooner has four wins, but his sole loss was Cleveland's last game in Boston. The combined record of 9-7 is the second worse regular season combined record so far this postseason, behind only the 7-7 record from the crew that officiated game 3, which was a loss. Needless to say, not too thrilled about these guys.
Quoted for truth!
I absolutely detest the Celtics and I hope the Cavs can destroy them.
