Round 2, Game 3 | Cavaliers at Celtics | May 7, 2010 | 7:00 PM EDT ESPN

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Good news... the league sent us Bennett Salvatore and Ken Mauer for Game 3 tonight:

Refresher - we were a combined 11-0 with them calling our games during the regular season:

David Stern knows he can't have the Cavs bounced in the second round :chuckles:

I know Bron dropped an egg in the last game but when he realizes there's a big game in front of us he never has let us down. We just need the whole team to step up and play their roles and we'll beat them.

AP TEST QUESTION #1
Which sauce best describes AP?

A. Strong
B. Mild
C. Weak

:chuckles:

That test is going to be hard, I mean I don't even know the situation-did he make a three yet? Two? A couple of airballs?

I'll be safe and go with super mega atomic weak sauce.

Ditto on the 4 in Calc.. its been 15 years for me, but I think I still had to take Calculus I, II and III for engineers at my school despite getting a 4 on it.

That's weird. I took mine about that long ago, too. I didn't have to take a single math class in college after getting a 4. I didn't even have to take the entrance exam. lol I was a history major, though. If you were in engineering then I would think you could still get out of Calc 1 at least.

I love my story about AP calc. I got straight C's in class. I did about 15% of the homework. My teacher told me I was wasting the $75 even taking the AP exam. I studied for the AP test a little bit the night before. Him telling me I got a 4 was one of the most satisfying moments of my life. :chuckles:

Very nice, chief, but outdated! Here's the regular season final...

Salvatore: 7-0
Mauer: 5-0
Zarba: 3-1

TOTAL: 15-1

Postseason...

Salvatore: 1-0
Mauer: 1-0
Zarba: 1-0

TOTAL: 3-0

Salvatore called the game 4 beatdown in Chicago and Mauer/Zarba did the game 5 wrap up back home. Savlatore is the white knight of Cavs games, with the Cavs winning the 8 games he's called be an average of +14.9 points per game. After the loss last game with Dan Crawford calling the action, Salvatore and Mauer are two of only three refs to call at least 5 Cavs games, but never call a loss (Guthrie being the other).

Keep in mind, though, that the last crew was a combined 10-2 in regular season Cavs games, so Cleveland has to show up in order to benefit from a crew that has called good games for them all year.

Saw Iron Man 2, will be studying all days for finals next week...5:30 can't come sooner and its like Christmas time over here for me.

I think the question to ask about the refs and their records officiating Cavs game is: what is the Celtics' record with each of those same refs calling their games?

Not sure, since I don't have the file with all their games and who called them, but you can bet your ass it isn't 18-1.

Based on a sports betting forum I go to, with these refs the Cavs are 18-1 (OT loss to Memphis), Celtics are 5-8.

Over/Under Shaq having 10 points and 8 rbs?

I'll be very optimistic and say 14/10 on 5 of 8 shooting. To be honest though, there's no chance in hell this happens :chuckles:. A man can dream though, right?

Okay, I'm done being emo about my Cavaliers. Let's do this tonight! Fuck Boston.
