So Long Jordan Clarkson ( aka Chucky McJumperson)

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
He’s a poor man’s Lou Williams off the bench.

I don’t want it around this group of young guards, but a contender will want that bench scoring.

I just really wish we could get a deal done before the season, although it’s unlikely at this current point in time. Teams aren’t usually looking for expirings until later in the year.

I could see a contender looking to shore up the bench. It is amazing to me that so many teams wait for the deadline. Earlier trades work better, and pre-training camp seems to be the best. That in season panic really does it I guess. I like Koby's willingness to shop early and often like he did last year.

Shooting a better % from the field than Harden so far this season!

Please do not tell Clarkson this! The last thing we need is him jacking up more shots.

Don't think this would have any effect on his mentality. He wants buckets. Hes gonna put them up. Sadly that's just his game. If he cared about winning even a little bit he wouldn't have kept bricking all game vs Orlando. Luckily for us he will help us get a top 5 pick then be dealt at deadline or walk in FA.

He's not good against long defenders since he likes to hang in the air before he shoots and hesitation moves. They can still reach the ball and crowd his space. Orlando is the worst team for him. Guessing he will look very good against Indiana. He is so streaky

I like what JC has said with his mouth regarding remaining here and AT TIMES, I like what he offers us on the floor. We can occasionally struggle for buckets and until KPJ and Garland feel a little more assured, we really need his skills.

I have stated before though, I don't know if he will ever learn. He just loves to shoot the damn ball and doesn't readily attempt to make passes.

Clarkson is 6'5 with a 6'8 wingspan, which is solid enough for a shooting guard. KPJ is similar: 6'5.5 and a 6'9 wingspan. In a perfect world one of those guys would have true small forward size, but this is a team in transition. Going forward we all know Clarkson is going to end up elsewhere and Windler is going to take those reserve swingman minutes, but Windler isn't healthy anyways. Gotta go with two shooting guards and hope a contender wants more firepower for their bench in a trade.

It's kind of crazy that they are so similar in size. I have no issue with KPJ playing SF, he looks like a hulk. Has that wing look to him while Jordan looks like a small sg. He has a much smaller frame, no matter the inch measurements.

Why is it that even when he makes a shot or makes an assist... I still don't feel good about it... He seems to be a genuine good guy (and not a team distraction when he is off the bench unlike ole aye and 1 dion) , just don't like his style of play...

Yeah I agree. I like JC the person and I think when it comes to being a locker room presence he is actually a quality young vet.

But his playstyle is just too detrimental.

Have to give him some credit, he is playing well. That trade value will be close to peak...

Man that play at the 10.40 mark in the fourth where he went 1v4 with Cedi just blatantly wide open in the corner is why I hate him even if he makes some shots.
