We have Kwan, Straw, OGonz, Brennan, Benson, Palacios, Jones, Valera and we have been throwing Arias and Noel out there as well... We cut Call (who has been solid for the Nationals)

We cannot keep all these guys going into 23. Last season we got what almost all our OF WAR came from Defense and sincerely this season, we got two Gold Glove candidates (one could be a Platinum Glove candidiate). Then OGonz who has been a solid MLB hitter... We got what over 9 WAR production from our OF and we were just hoping for 6 area in total lol
 
Straw and Kwan aren't going anywhere...CF and LF are covered.

So, list your pecking order of the remaining OFs on the 40 man. (I'm not counting Arias, although he could end up being a super util guy)

Also, that's why I believe trades will happen from this group....

Kwan, Straw and Gimenez are all finalists for the gold gloves... If they aren't then baseball needs to fire their writers...Gimenez could also get a Silver Slugger for 2B (I don't remember where he ranks, but I know if he doesn't get it, he's top 3).

Problem with Gimenez is he's just in an unlucky league. He probably gets 2nd for Gold Glove behind Schoop and 2nd for Silver Slugger behind Altuve. And Schoop might not even have gotten enough playing time if he wasn't in Detroit all year cause he was that bad at offense.

Kwan and Straw should actually take home the GG awards.

Focus, mental agility/reaction time, and hand-eye coordination are not really teachable skills (I've heard it referred to as kinesthetic intelligence), and should be thought of as "tools" just as much as the more purely physical skills having speed or a good frame, IMO. Kwan seems to have all those tools in abundance in an elite level. I think it's that mental side which just shows up in so many ways in his game, whether it's plate discipline, getting fast jumps both for fielding and stealing bases, knowing where to throw the ball, etc.
 
So Benintendi got 5 years and $75 MILLION.
What will Kwan be worth? Maybe take trade offers now.
