Glad to know Lyons played at least decent, I pushed for this guy right after the draft ended.

From what I see, it would have been good if we just had JJ playing, maybe we would have someone other than Green that could score/even play?

I know summer league is much different than the actual NBA but I'm liking what I saw from Danny Green. I think he could be a very solid NBA player in a year or two, I was actually hoping while watching the draft that we would trade up to the mid-30s for him and was shocked that he was still there at 46 (but thrilled). Leo Lyons also has a shot to make the team, he played well. I really wish JJ was playing, it would make me much more motivated to watch.

Green's J looks effortless..kinda similar to Steph Curry's release.

Darnell needs to slow his ass down on offense, all of his post moves were rushed. He has a decent little drop step/spin if he would stop and gather himself. Same with his jumper, just chucks it up there without setting his feet.

Lyons can really fill it up, great instincts around the rim. That reverse layup in traffic was nice.

Eyenga just seemed real nervous when he had the ball. I don't think his offensive game is as bad as it's looking right now, after that huge brick to start the game I think it just killed his confidence. Remember he's never played in anything close to this competition before so even a summer league game is a big stage for him right now. Had a nasty block though and by the end of the week no doubt we'll see some highlight plays from him.

TK what an awful game, the turnovers, shot selection..everything was bad. Seriously was he drunk again? It's Vegas, I wouldn't doubt it.
 
I missed the game but read each post in here.

I guess the majority of you think Green is THE man? That's good to hear. I liked him in college. After last night, I'm betting some NBA teams are now wondering why they skipped over him at least two times in the draft. :) I'm also wondering how many of the 45 players picked ahead of him will end being as good or better than Green? .. maybe not many of them at all.

It sounds like TK hasn't worked hard this off season. You could say the same of DJ. The opposite might be said of Green. If there is one thing you can gleem from the first summer game, it's maybe that you can clearly tell who is working hard until now to improve his game, and who has not worked hard and simply thought they could show up last night and do well.

Tonight, 10:00 PM ET vs the Bucks I believe.
 
Will the game against the Bucks be streamed here too? I didn't realize this was happening so quickly, either.
