Super Bowl LVI - Ohio vs Odell

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
The timeout meant nothing. It was under 40 seconds, so it didn’t extend the game at all. Staley was just trying to get his defense prepared.

What a fuck you by the Raiders though. They could have just not done anything and guaranteed themselves a spot, but took the chance of a blocked kick, bad snap or whatever else to try and end the Chargers season.
It looked like they were about to kneel I’m not sure tho I’ll have to see it again

I think the thought was, give your DL a blow to try to catch their breath and end the game……but it looked like the Raiders just had a straight handoff up the middle dialed up and then changed the play after the TO.

He clearly wasn’t trying to get the ball back, as he got the clock under :40 before taking it. You could see him watching the clock. Oof.

Lol Carr’s interview - it was intended to go for tie and changed after that timeout
I’ve never seen a player look so nervous in an interview

I’m a big Derek Carr guy….Would be an honor to buy his Browns jersey….

That’s a true leader

So does this make Carr unavailable in trade talks now? Feels like it did.

Need to see the clip again but when staley called that TO is definitely looked like Herbert said something along the lines of “just play for the tie”

Everyone here is upset because the Steelers made it but everyone knows if it was the Browns in that same spot against an AFC North team you'd absolutely, 100% want them kicking that FG to knock out the other team.

The tiny, tiny risk of something awful happening (and it was tiny) is worth the much more likely reward of keeping them out. You know it.

Instead of a tie and the Stoolers crying for eternity about ruining Ben’s career end, we now get to see him wobble passes around arrowhead, down 21 in the 1st half.

It also benefits the raiders winning (@bengals) more than the tie would have (@Chiefs). Play for the best interests of your own team.

Unfortunately…. You out him with some legit weapons and a line and the narrative changes….

Put him in Pittsburgh next year and they are division champs….

Yea which is why I was honestly surprised the Raiders were looking so content to take a knee.

You'd 10000% rather play the Bengals than the Chiefs.

Crazy to me they were gonna run it out as opposed to trying a kick because of the like .001% chance it would be blocked and run back.

What a shame though. Herbert was superhuman on SD's last two scoring drives in regulation.

Bigger moron: Brandon Staley out Zac Taylor?
One guy has been in the playoffs for already a week and the other guy cost his team a shot at it with a horrendous decision tonight…..

Staley without hesitation….
