Super Bowl LVI - Ohio vs Odell

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
What a shame though. Herbert was superhuman on SD's last two scoring drives in regulation.
And there’s people around here who rip Herbert…. We would be losing our minds and planning parades if he was our quarterback….Even not making the playoffs the whole mindset would be different…

The NFL always wins.

Goodell with a swirl of his glass, a glimmer in his eye and the slightest hint of a smile as he throws another stack of hundreds into the hearth after that one ended.

Literally zero thought about the Steelers making the playoffs. I really couldn’t care less about them getting in to get smoked by the Chiefs.

I legitimately just wanted to watch the insanely improbable history.

Everyone here is upset because the Steelers made it but everyone knows if it was the Browns in that same spot against an AFC North team you'd absolutely, 100% want them kicking that FG to knock out the other team.

The tiny, tiny risk of something awful happening (and it was tiny) is worth the much more likely reward of keeping them out. You know it.
Yeah. But we are fans and we fucking hate the Steelers.

LAC still needed to stop them on that 3rd down run. They didn’t. Timeout or no timeout they gave up a first down on that run. The timeout should actually help the defense to get set.

Need to see the clip again but when staley called that TO is definitely looked like Herbert said something along the lines of “just play for the tie”
Close :chuckle:

Felt like the Raiders were content with the tie. Probably had coaches around during the chaos of the last drive saying stuff like "Play it safe, we're in with a tie."

Then the timeout gives them a chance to think "Man if we can squeeze out a FG we play Cincy instead of KC."

And the rest is history. What a game though.

Welp, comedy ALMOST happened. And now Raiders are in, vs. Bengals.
Sucks that Buffalo has to face NE in the first round. Hopefully they beat them again to drive the nail in the coffin. That franchise needs to suck for an extended period again, like normal sports teams.

Really hope that the Super Bowl is something like Packers/Chiefs.
Really hope it's not Tampa Bay vs. Anyone, especially NE.

If Eagles bounce Tampa Bay that might be the happiest I've been over a NFL playoff game since Super Bowl 52 (edging out Browns over Steelers in last year's wild card). The Eagles have yet to score a win against a winning team, but the crappier version of this Eagles team would have had a W on them earlier in the season if not for refs being the 12th man.

Damn Steelers in the playoffs. Such a shit team this season, except maybe on certain aspects of defense. Expecting them to get CHIEF'D again

I would be! That was some magic. He was converting fourth down after fourth down with consistent pressure from Maxx Crosby.

I would have left my wife for him last night.

Sorry babe, don’t care if this is a loss, I’ve seen what I needed to see.

Isn't it obvious tom brady is cheating?somehow someway. You don't get stronger in your 40s.
