Super Bowl LVI - Ohio vs Odell

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I don’t think this is an example of good defense against the chiefs. They gave up more yards and the chiefs had 1.8 more yards per play against the ravens than the browns

I guess if the strategy is get the ball in CEH’s hands in meaningful moments then the ravens did do better than us there

Some of us caught shit for simply suggesting that we do this……

Kansas City had more points, yards, the same number of TDs and Mahomes had the same rating (despite an INT) against the Ravens than the Browns. They are the 2015-2019 GS Warriors. You can take a player away, but they have a system and several others that can neat you. You have to muddy up the game, keep it close and see if you can get them to make mistakes (what helped the Ravens and hurt the Browns).

I guess. I wouldn’t have touched him in a first round in fantasy lol. I let others take that risk and glad I did.
I’ll admit I didnt predict him to be completely worthless though.

Oh I am totally with you. He was hilariously overdrafted last year.

I actually liked him at his late second ADP this year. Joke's on me. He really was as bad as I thought.

That still doesn’t change my point. We let Hill and Kelce run wild. Had we just zeroed in on Hill or Kelce and forced the others to step up like tonight, we would’ve won that game.

We never even considered doing this in our game. Never.

My wife’s family does this dumb 6 team league just for fun, and … I took him in that one. :chuckle:

You literally just saw what happens when you take one of their guys away...more points, more yards and, if not for a careless fumble, a loss.

To be fair, we only lost that game because our punter couldn't catch a snap and our stud RB fumbled. That was an incredibly winnable game that we blew.

This isn’t hard. You have a choice. Either you let Hill and Kelce go off and contain everybody else or you shutdown either Hill or Kelce and force the other role players to step up.

You don’t have to overthink it. We chose to let Hill and Kelce get theirs in our game. Played a soft ass zone and never doubled either of them. BAL doubled Hill all night. That left Kelce 1 on 1 and provided more opportunities for the role players like Robinson and Pringle. That’s why those guys had big nights. Because Hill was drawing a lot of attention. BAL did that intentionally and was willing to live with the results rather than let two of the top players in the league just go off like we did.

Yes, and Baltimore would have lost if KC's shitty running back didn't fumble.

Nice man what is so hard to understand about the fact that the thing you are openly yearning for yielded worse overall results. At home. With a better unit.
