Texans' Record Watch

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Colts came through in the clutch. Should be plenty of options at 4.

#4 !!

Unbelievable.

What a trade value-wise. 2017 #12 for 2017 #25 and 2018 #4.

For those keeping score, the draft chart dictates we traded 1200 points for 720 points + 1800 points.

So, 1200 to 2520, we essentially more than doubled the value of our pick.

Say what you want about Sashi and Depo, they were very creative.

Basically a free number 10 pick overall.

Still disgusting sashi was let go and hue has been kept so far

We were also insanely fortunate that Watson got hurt. This pick is in the 20s otherwise.

Don’t get me wrong I’m as happy as a clam but we did get incredibly lucky as RG said.

Not only did Sashi miss on Watson, it almost indirectly led to us getting two picks in the 20s.

Yeah, I’m sure a lot of people will lose sight of that though.

I’m incredibly happy with how lucky they got. The front office traded away what looks to be a second franchise QB and was only bailed out by an injury.

They were another healthy 6-7 games away from Trading the #12 pick for something like #20 and #25.

I’m glad it worked out but the people pumping up Sashi for that is a bit of a stretch for me. He made a bad decision but was rewarded because of an injury.

Not sure it's fair to say he missed on Watson considering Watson may never be the same. We saw what happened to RGIII, and the general history of QBs of that style isn't exactly promising once teams have time to adjust.
