I think Utah paid him to float the idea. They over paid him and he has underperformed. He was better when he had Z and the KING on the court with him, and I don't think the numbers support his being any better than Goober.

Drew had his best season last season with us, and I think this is a contract year for him. I say bring him back and play AV a lot. Sign Z, Pay good money for a dangerous shooting guard and a legit point, and the kids will be alright. Consider this, where would we have gone last year with McGinnis instead of JMac and Luke Jaxson healthy?

The sad part is that this story will get posted as an actual rumor on many basketball websites and people who don't know about Roger Brown will believe it has truth to it.

There's no way Boozer would be brought back here. The Cavs would not take his huge overpriced contract and use up a ton of their cap space on Boozer.

The report on Scott Williams doing Cavs broadcasts kind of gets lost in this. Now that could have truth to it and would be a nice change from Mark Price.

Bah. Mixed emotions here. I am taking this rumor with a grain of salt, but If I was to choose between Gooden or Boozer, it would probably be *cough*Boozer*cough.

Boozer is a dick, we all know that. But when he played along side Z and Bron, Carlos shined. We all loved his hustle and his willingness to do all the garbage work.

If we somehow magically ended up with Boozer though, it will take me a while to actually welcome him back.

Anyways, it's a pipe dream. Boozer back stabbed Cleveland and the media will explode if this ever happend.

Roger Brown needs to start writing on whats important "Free Agency" and get over this whole Boozer thing.

Boozer at $6 or 7 million a year, maybe. At more than $12 million a year, no. He's not worth the contract he has and I wouldn't want his overpriced contract on the Cavs cap taking up tons of space.

People who get frustrated at Gooden's inconsistency are quick to forget the consistency of Boozer's defense. The complete lack of it that is. Do we want to see Z guarding opposition power forwards again to cover his definiencies.

I don't care what anyone else thinks I'll take Boozer back in a second.

He is so much more consistent then Gooden it's sad.

Drew has as much talent and ability as any 4 in the league but has 1 big problem--he's an idiot and makes way to many mistakes!

Boozer on the other hand was a rock solid performer for the Cavs and more importantly was a consistent player on the front line of a team that looked to have a bright future.

Booozer wanted money for the best interest of his own family and if it was me I'd say forget Cleveland if it means the better for my family!

Also how can so many people be complaing about Boozer wanting to go get a big contract and be all up Z's butt while he is doing the same thing and blantently lied.

Does anyone remember him saying he would take less money to remain a Cav because he feels he owes it to the Organization for being with him thru the hard times of his surgeries and paying him anyways??

I do and that is the reality of the NBA--90% of the players in the league are liars when it comes to money and Boozer is no different and if we have a chance to get him for a Gooden and Snow--I'll do it in a second!

I have no problem with Boozer leaving. I was happy as I was one of the very few who thought he wasn't the right fit for us. He is grossly overpaid and is pathetic defensively. Disector you surprise me. You are high on defense which is why you do not rate Z highly yet he had to cover Boozer's man often as Booz was hopeless on defense. Just seems strange man. I have always wanted an athlete with Z, and Drew I got that. Just didn't get a full brain unfortunately.

I agree Boozer isn't a great defender but Gooden is just as bad and if someone attacks Gooden offensively he would be done!

Boozer gives this team a few things Drew doesn't-
A mental and physical toughness and consistency.
All important parts for a team wanting to compete for a championship!
