The Chubb-Hub Yardage Delivery Service

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
You're comparing apples and oranges. Just saying
I could be. I guess my main point is I don’t think any of us actually know the fruit we are dealing with yet in Chubb’s case. So how is everyone so sure the fruit is spoiled?

I get the injury looks genuinely horrific. To me it looked just as bad as the one at Georgia… the one he came back from less than a year later ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I think this is a career ender for a lot of guys, but the truly elite players usually have a truly elite work ethic to go along with their physical advantages, and thus they’re exactly the type of guys who can make it back from catastrophic injuries. Unless he just decides to hang it up, in which case I wouldn’t blame him, I’m assuming he’ll play next year.

Here’s one thing I know for sure

If Chubb decides he wants to keep playing there isn’t a price out there that I won’t pay to go to his first game back. Wherever it is, whatever else I have going on I will fly out and get tickets at the 50 yard line behind the browns bench

I didn’t get to see JT live one last time due to injury and the thought of that happening with Chubb has left me physically sick

I doubt Chubb plays for the Browns again. I don't think he'll come back next year and the year after his contract is expensive but no longer guaranteed. So unless they're able to restructure his contract I don't see how it happens.

This is the real world, not a movie or TV show
I smell a bet.

No doubt this is devastating. Chubb is as elite as it gets though in terms of mental toughness and positive attitude. I hope that mental aspect isn't damaged. Maybe he never gets back to a high enough level to resume playing. But knowing Chubb it may be more likely that he loses 100 lbs. of his 800 lb. squat weight and a tenth off his 40 speed. He's the type who takes on challenges and beats them.

I have no idea how that’s possible. Wonder if the MCL tear would be recorded in a couple months however they are taking extra precautions to let the ACL stretch recover?

Depending on the grade of tear, it might not even be major surgery. What a fucking turn of events. I am kind of in disbelief. This would be such a shot in the arm to the franchise if true.

Plus we still got Kareem Hunt back
