Going to be completely embarrassing firing another coach but it literally has to be done

Of all the reasons to fire a coach in season, horrifically underperforming has to be the best one.

Like if this was a team like Hue had, yeah we got pissed at the inability to win, but he wasn't exactly swimming with talent nor expected to do well.

This though, and it isn't as if they're losing close games to tough breaks. It is a pattern.

Penalties
Bad play-calling on O
No adjustments

That is bad coaching and after 8 Weeks, and coming off a bye, there is little reason to expect an improvement.

Yes, the Patriots are a good team, but the Browns are beating themselves as much as the Patriots. Unacceptable.

Teams were 0 for their last 22 when challenging pass interference calls

At this point if it isn’t the exact Saints play from last year’s playoffs they aren’t overturning it

I would be STUNNED if Freddie knew that statistic or even the overall success rate and still chose to challenge that play

But the fact that I’d be stunned is such a sad statement that shows I don’t believe we have done basic research

And the play wasn’t even close. He was CLEARLY over a yard past the LoS

the other challenge was just as bad. He clearly had the first down. There was NO chance of that being overturned

just wasted 2 timeouts and challenges for no reason at all. I honestly think they were just frustration challenges which is honestly just embarassing

then to bring on the punter at 4th and 11 and then after a false start bring back out the offense? What the fuck are you even thinking? Ok so update, they didn’t want to take a timeout on 4th and 11 so they intentionally took a false start with the punting unit to have a play ready for 4th and 16? That is some of the worst logic I’ve ever heard since... Freddie a few weeks ago when he said he wanted to score twice before half under 2 minutes

I thought the Chud firing was a joke. I don’t believe coaches should be fired after a season unless there are excruciating circumstances

I believe we are at those circumstances. Freddie’s football IQ is an embarrassment

Kicking a field goal down 17 in the 4th quarter is ultimate cowardice.

What a fucking garbage head coach.

Yeah this dude ain't it.

maybe meyer?
maybe lincoln riley?

I don't know. Even my dad...who's apathetic is pissed.

Guy isn't making it. I guess Wilks as HC to finish the damn thing out.

Yikes, I was strongly against a midseason firing, but this is horrific

No way we make a run against the weak schedule playing like this

Yeah I'm not a fan but this guy ain't it.
You risk losing the team even more if you continue on with him.

Another week, another sign of little to no improvement in discipline, technique or doing the small stuff. Kitchens' decision making is questionable. He just does dumb things all the time. He is in way over his head. Could Todd Monken be worse as interim HC?
