As seen in the comments: Fun fact about Stefanski, when he jumps in freezing water his penis actually gets bigger.

Not as impressive as it sounds, 2 of those coaches were Hue Jackson and Freddie Kitchens.

and Greggggggggg.

He's our best coach since we've been back and has the highest winning percentage since ole Marty did in the 80s - that sounds more impressive.....I think.

Gregg Williams is actually a decent coach, I wont throw him in there with the shit show that is Hue and Freddie.

What part was more decent? Was it when Gregg called for a 6 man, cover-0 blitz with 20 seconds left in a game when his team lead by 4 or was it when he got caught paying bounties to his players when they inflicted injuries on opponents?

The bounties had nothing to do with his coaching ability as a defensive coordinator, just shows he is an asshole. And all coaches make mistakes on calls. But he has had a very good track record as a defensive coordinator as far as coaching, not the bounties.

Not saying i want him back, but his defense did help win a super bowl.

Chunt right now.

If your question is “based on Baker’s current performance, would I prefer if the Browns run Chunt up the middle on fourth and short instead of have Baker throw downfield,” it’s yes.

If the question is, “would I prefer if the Browns run Chunt up the middle in a standard formation with no motion vs something more exotic?” The answer is no.

If the question is, “prior to Baker’s current slide, would you prefer running Chunt up the middle to Baker throwing?” it’s no again.

I distrust Baker currently. I trust Stefanski and the run game. If Baker gets healthy (assuming that’s the problem and not brain farts or OBJ), then I have no problem with some wacky formations and motion or Baker passing on 3rd and 4th and short.

Yeah I agree with all of that. No confidence in Baker right now.

Speaking of shamed ex-Browns coaches...

Has anyone noticed Mike Holmgren is the government bureaucrat who suppresses the Ark of the Covenant at the end of Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark?

Very well might be talking about fixing Brady Quinn.

Obviously the bulk of the credit goes to Hunt, the O-Line, and Vikings incompetence, but I wonder how many coaches would have kneeled the football in the 3rd & 20 at your own 26, 35 seconds left, and the Vikings out of timeouts scenario.

His record as a Browns coach is identical to mine: 0-0-0. Also, did Urban Meyer coach here? We‘ve had so many I might have missed him (not that I would actually miss him).

Meyer’s mistake was that he picked the wrong team. Based on the second video Urban has the skills to oil Watson’s anus and that would have solved a lot of problems for the Texans.

Agree that actor looks like Holmgren, who also hired “Top Men” (sadly not for the Browns).

I've been looking for an opening to post a Mike Holmgren / Indiana Jones joke for over a month. I forced in a little sloppy.

...sloppy.

there's some room for criticism for Stefanski. And it's not because he's doing a bad job. He's not. It's entirely about how difficult it can be to balance out game planning where the ball is going and how coaches can get in ruts and get away from effective concepts because they caught up going elsewhere.

I mean that playcall is fire-able…. Legitimately that bad.

(I’d never fire him)
He absolutely deserves a huge amount of blame for this loss and the defense gets the rest.

Christ 47 points given up is insane
