"The" New iMac

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
BTW:

Apple is doing just fine in the market. In the last 12 months, their share increased around 40%. They are building culture for computer nerds out there.

And Apple does sell computers for the people who don't want to spend a grand.

It's called the Mac Mini. And it's like 500 bucks.

There stock didnt do so well according to what i read on the Wall Street Journal and that the iPhone hurt them almost instead of helping them.

You pay for what you get. If your spending 200 dollars on a computer, you will most likely recieve a computer that has like 215MB of RAM (WHICH IS SHIT) and a 20GB hard drive. What a low budget weak ass machine.

If it emails, and posts for ya well, more power to you.

I don't think they even make computers with less then double that anymore. I just bought a cheap computer for $450.00 from best buy.

You got to be kidding me. The iPhone sold over 500,000 phones in one weekend..

They made $400 MILLION DOLLARS THAT WEEKEND.

Name me another phone that did that.

dude, i dont give a shit about it, im telling you what i read, they can sell that many in one week, everything always sells tons its first week, wether it be a video game, cd, phone, video game system whatever if they keep putting up those numbers, it will be good, but i know several people who work at Apple Stores and Phone stores and say they arent moving as fast as people expected, if they peak out at that much thats not good because numbers only go down from there, why do you think they are already trying to push out the Nano Iphone before Christmas?

I dont get it, you praising them isnt going to get you anything. i dont get that with Mac people....

EVERYONE SHOULD HAVE A MAC THEY ARE SO ****ING GREAT YOU CAN DO THIS AND THAT AND THEN THIS.

i dont need to edit videos. i dont need to photoshop pictures. i dont need all the cutsey stuff the Mac offers, if i wanted one, id go out and drop the money on one. But i can still look at porn, download music and post on here which is all that really matters to me. (in that order) hahaha.

Did I say everyone should get a Mac? Where did I say that? You are putting words in my mouth.

I just said, I like Mac products, and everyone is telling me why they suck, and I'm just saying why they don't.

It's not so much me prasing, it seems more like Mac bashing to me.

And if you don't care so much, why bring the liberty to share a factoid to try bring Apple down again?

Lets put it this way.

Everything has normal products that everyone can use.

Normal cars.

Normal Radios.

Normal phones.

Does everyone need a fancy car? Phone? or a Radio?

No, but it would be nice to have the luxury.

And I still don't get why people think that Apple and Photoshop are related.

Adobe doesn't even come in a Mac.

I just wanted to offer a perspective outside that of a user. Both have benefits. Both have detractions. I have a PC. This is a personal preference because I like to change configurations. I also like the availability of software options that a Windows based environment offers. I also know that I can do that in a MAC environment that can run Windows. If I was doing more with editing of photos, videos, graphic design, I would buy a seperate MAC for this, as they are by far better. I would also buy a MAC for my children, as it is easier to learn and harder to "break" (crash). Really, as long as it does what you need it to do, it shouldn't matter.

The biggest difference I see is that MAC users are passionate about the MAC product, while PC users rip on Windows as much as MAC guys.

I had the first iMac, and it sucked, It died on me, but that's what you get when you get the 1st new product.
I believe the iphone is "crap de jour".
This new iMac looks nice, but I agree with James, AGAIN. I don't care, it's all a fad. If people want to be "different", they will shell out the money for this new computer, when they already have a perfectly good one at home.

To me, it's all about being an attention whore "Look what I got, yeah, I had a PC and there was nothing wrong with it, but this iMac is way cooler. Yeah, I dropped $1,200, which was dumb of me, because it basically wiped out the money I was trying to save, but check out this awesome looking keyboard."

So go spend your $250 A Mac, I'm right there with you.

How is the iPhone crap?

Any problems with yours Glen? I love the look of it and probably would have switched if it wasn't exclusive to AT&T. I'm under contract with Verizon...

I love my iPhone. It's my favorite thing I own. I like it more then my own computer.

My only dislikes about the phone is that the ringtone isn't loud AT ALL.

You need to keep it on vibrate to even tell you have a phone call.

The earpiece echos sometimes, but not all the time. Sometimes you need to take it off and reconnect to get rid of the echo.

The speaker phone isn't that great as well.

AT&T kinda sucks, I get dropped calls when driving through the Metroparks.

Other then that,
Email is perfect.
Google Maps is very usefull.
The internet is identical to the internet at home.
YouTube in the palm of your hands is pretty cool when you're bored.

The screen is also made of glass, which is scratch proof. I keep my phone with no protected covers or anything, and not one scratch on it.

If you have extra money to spend on a fun little toy that can make phone calls, then I'd suggest one.

Notice the only "perks" of the phone are the internet options. The phone itself is not good. When not using the speaker, you can barely hear the person you're talking to.
They spent most of the time making sure the internet works, and cared less about the PHONE.
The ear piece echoes ALL OF THE TIME.
The speaker phone is low, ALL OF THE TIME.
Yes, it drops calls, you can either blame the phone or the service, but overall, it is not worth the money, and that's why I say it is "crap de jour".
