Man, Kotaku dropped a pretty scathing article on the culture of sexism are Riot Games, the developers of League of Legends. It's a good read if you've got ten minutes or so.

Never understood the toxicity regarding women in gaming. I couldn't give a shit who my teammates are in a game as long as they know what the fuck they're doing. I tend to run across two types of guys in gaming when it comes to female gamers, though. They're either incredibly toxic and use awful language or they are those fucking white knights who think the girls need defended from everything. I hate both those groups. Just treat them like regular fucking people. I'll talk shit to a girl the same as I talk shit to a guy, and I'll talk to them in-game if they're on my team like they're anyone else.
I used to regularly play TF2 with a couple of different girls. They were good at the game, and that's really all I care about. Only reason I'm not still playing with them is because I'm on a TF2 hiatus right now.
I hear a lot of pretty awful things while playing Sea of Thieves (usually not directed at me, just racist crewmates). I usually play along for a bit (not actually saying anything bad myself, but just don't say anything against them) and wait for a good opportunity to sink our ship when it's loaded with loot. I don't need the money in the game, so ruining an hour-long run for a couple of assholes is totally worth it to me.

Also, IGN just had to fire one of their reviewers for plaigerizing parts of his Dead Cells review from a YouTuber.

Hollow Knight got pretty amazing reviews across the board. It's on my short list if I ever stop playing Sea of Thieves and decide to play something else, although Banner Saga 3 will be my next get after I finish re-playing the previous two, which were both incredible.

Was thinking about it. That, and Hollow Knight (more of a Metroidvania) at some point when my library gets whittled down.
