They're baaaack...Game Thread | 2021-2020 Season | Game #59 | Cavs @ Pistons | Feb. 24, 2022 | 7:00 p.m.

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Perhaps it is beyond the scope of any coach to control the effort the team gives. The bright lights bouncing off Macy Gray's hair, the celebrity status of hanging with the "names" in the league, soaking in the NBA culture with players that switch teams until they reach New York or LA. How long will these young men fight injuries, bad calls, lousy local media, and the reality that you're never gonna go anywhere with Rondo. Or wasted picks like Windler. Especially when the "name players" they're hanging with NEVER find their way to Cleveland unless they're coming off horrid injuries (Shaun Livingston, Derrick Rose), are old (Rondo) fat (Shawn Kemp), crazy (Delonte West).

They all go the way of Kyrie, Durant, LeBron, Harden. Big money, big city. And the more they climb into that culture, the more they will emulate it. Of course they don't want LeBron back in Cleveland. They want full credit for their "legacies".

They can prove me wrong by hustling. Outworking a 14 win team. Fighting physical fire with fire. Run plays crisply so Love , Lauri, Cedi and Wade get OPEN shots. By not dribbling the first 14 seconds of every shot clock and then force it into a sea of bodies in the lane. By WORKING on free throws until their fingers bleed.

This is Cleveland. If you wanna talk big shit, you gotta be twice as good as the other team. You gotta work twice as hard. Don't call anyone "Unicorn" when you can't get a ball into him, and he doesn't take a single FG attempt in the first half. Floor burns. Sacrifice the prestige moment to heal your body so you can lead the team.

This is Cleveland. You might as well understand what it means. You're gonna be here for a few years. You're either gonna become a Cavalier, or a Kyrie Irving. A talented, thankless, headline generator.

Cavs management: Get Alonzo Mourning, Tim Duncan, Kevin Garnett, Mark Price, David Robinson, etc to teach these boys how to become proper men in the NBA.

A Cow Has Spoken

They really don't look like a 14 win team
There was a good observation by one of the broadcasters that team that gets injured players back don't reflect their record. Detroit is quite a bit better with Jerami Grant back. He's a starter and a near all star.

It was their shitty bench that did it though. Starters didn't even play well, which was very frustrating. Always some scrub like Diallo killing our momentum

JBB waited for a better opportunity to challenge, at 47 seconds left? Okoro is the king of of incorrect calls or non-calls, on the losing side.
