Tyronn Lue has been fired

So with this move and KLove being "hurt" over the last two games, there had to be conversations with him right? You sign him to an extension and he is committed to the Cavs. There in NO WAY this was not involving KLove. Just saying. Joe Vardon is following twitter but has not talked to anyone I am sure to make the statement the players are "pissed" about this.
 
Count me as very happy he's gone, his crappy ass don't give a shit attitude and lousy system filtered down to the the players.
Now we can start to make some positive progress with the young players...I'd buy out JR today..can't keep him around all year.
Deals Korver now and if we can't find a taker for Hill I'm sure we can move him at the deadline. TT goes to the bench.
Sexton/Cedi/Nance/Zizic/Hood/Clarkson/Nwaba/Dekker and Love till we can move him down the line.

Long overdue. You can't convince me he wasn't head and shoulders worse than any other coach in the league.

Wouldn't surprise me at all if he wasn't angling to get canned knowing he no longer had LeBron to carry him and the rebuild was going to be extensive.

Hope the front office hasn't lost the team and destroyed the positive culture.

I dont know if they talked to Love about it. If you think about when Love signed his extension, all the reports and comments were about how Koby sold his vision to Love. There was nothing about Lue selling how he was going to set up the offense around Love.

To be honest, I've only seen the Joe Vardon tweet about that and I really don't believe he has talked to most of the team yet (or any). However, I will say that most players around the NBA are pissed since they have to go back and erase the "W" off their calendar for future games against the Cavs.

True! Koby sold it and it was up to Lue to help execute it but ever since Koby took over, it has seemed that whatever Koby stated in news conferences have never been acted on by Lue. It could be a GM vs coach situation but to have KLove being so important and committed to your organization, I was wondering (speculating) that they had to have talked to him. I'll drive down to Lake Oswego today and knock on his dad's door and ask...LOL!!

If the players are angry, they need only look at themselves. Either they were vastly underperforming or this team is devoid of talent and the angry guys will be gone soon enough.
 
Is Longo still here? If he is then we’re still an embarrassing team with a shot at 0-82. I think the humiliation was too much to bare. Can’t get caught up in sunk cost when building a team.

They need to trade Love or at least send JR/TT home if distractions are an issue. Any commitment past this season for Drew would be Ill-advised. The bar isn’t too high for Drew, just start Sexton, play Zizic and get Nwaba 20 minutes a game.
 
Some day a hundred years from now some kid will look at his coaching record and wonder why he never got another job. That kid will be lucky to have never seen him coach basketball.

The players are all asking "How can you fire Lue and not fire Longbardi"? That is a fair point.
