Tyronn Lue has been fired

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Trade Korver. If you aren't going to play him, then trade him.
Cavs would of benefited from 8 preseason games instead of 4. Altman needs to see the young guys out on the court so he can can determine the teams long term needs. neither Korver nor JR smith impact the Cavs long term plans and are know values when working on mid season trades.

You also want to minimize your chances to get hurt. Altmans message to Lue was clear. Lue ignored it and didn't get any results.

Clarkson,Hood, Sexton, are the teams focus guards wise with Cedi,Nwaba,Dekkar at the three.

Lue also has gone out of his way to keep Thompson and Nance off the floor together.

This would of been a sensible lineup against Griffin and Drummond or any combinations of Zizic with either Thompson or Nance.

You can tell me this would hurt the Cavs offensively but the current offensive efficiency doesn't convince me.

Zizic is the only big man we have who cant play the 4 but we continue to go small even though its clearly not working.

Lue didn't show any flexibility in his schemes or rotations even when the Love injury gave him the opportunity to do just that.

I doubt it helps a ton, the breath of Lue is still around, but hopefully we see some better utilization and more competitive team.

Gilbert wanted Sexton to get more minutes. Altman wanted Korver and JR Smith out of the rotation.

Lue did what he wanted to and lost.

ultimately neither GM nor Owner trusted Lue with this team

I am surprised Lue didnt get at least 20 games to show something but feel more confident with Larry Drew at the helm
I tend to agree.. But 0-5 out of the gate and giving up over 110pts per game is not competitive. Drew showed he can coach when Lue was out.

I don't see anything from the players except thanking Lue. Now the national attention we are receiving is ripping us top to bottom, and I don't really give a shit. The team has to start to develop these kids immediately. Watching Cedi's body language the past couple games was a clear indication and a red flag. Hoping we see more of Z & Nwaba period. Also will look for a total defensive shift and an offensive overhaul too.
this is going to be a long process....there was no point in playing the vets over developing the young talent...we have to see what we have out there....losing was inevitable either way...if Love doesn't like it thats too bad he can and will be traded in my opinion anyway. Lue neer seemed to get the best out of his players...it almost seemed like we won the title in spite of him...I dont care if we lost LBJ the team seems lost with no scheme...I can accept losing if I see they have purpose out there....no need to see JR out there who could care less at this point

:celb (4):Can we add Hue Jackson?
Two coaches canned in one week :fingersx:
