Looking ahead to the lottery and draft , just curious to what player best fits the Cavz needs. It’s a forgone conclusion Cade Cunningham is the number one pick in this draft. Cunningham is the ideal prospect the Cavz need to compliment the smaller backcourt. Jalen Green is a high upside big time scorer S/G - SF with freakish athleticism.

With the addition of Hartenstein to team with Jarrett Allen I see no need for Mobley on the Cavz roster. Jalen Suggs is a great talent as a combo guard but is pretty much what we already have in Sexton and Garland.

the kid I really like is Scottie Barnes from FSU who is a team first Point forward and a lock down defender who can guard guards and forwards . Barnes is very athletic who has the entire package but a questionable outside shot . Some suggest Drafting Okoro and Barnes two years in a row isn’t a wise move on a team with questionable shooters.

The upside is Both developing there shooting as many others like Colin Sexton have recently. Okoro and Barnes two lockdown defenders on the wings would be a nice luxury to have against high scoring offenses.

I can’t see the team with two small guards that can’t defend winning a title or at least being a threat to win it all. The likes of Okoro and Barnes with Jarret Allen can cover up those weaknesses.

I don't think it's a forgone conclusion that Cade Cunningham is the #1 pick.

I would suggest checking out the Draft Safari thread here on the site. @Nathan S is probably the most active one over there along with @I'mWithDan among others.

Thanks for the heads up as I’m new to the forum
