Week #1 - @ KC Rematch!!!

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Great game guys. I know the finish was disappointing given the mistakes but the Browns dominated the LOS on both sides with regards to the run game. There’s no doubt this Cleveland team has gotten better and I expect a playoff rematch assuming good health.
Too soon

We will learn a lot about this team next week.

You could say Houston sucks and be deflated about this game leading to a close game hangover or even worse, a stupid loss.

Or they could curb stomp the Texans.

Hope it is the second one.

Baker’s willingness to throw that ball and turn it over the way he did will win you more games than it will lose you. Have to take that along with everything else he brings. He was grooving today until we let them rattle us with a timely sack.

there’s a LOT to love about what we saw today. Against 80% of the teams in the league we could rack up the second half mistakes we did and still win with the way we played.

The offensive line is dialed, Baker was hitting every receiver in stride on excellent routes. No clunky timing. And if KC offense wasn’t so great we would have controlled the clock with the line play and the RBs.

Just gotta learn from this one and move on as fast as you can. And Stefanski is the perfect leader to ensure the learn and move on.

Oh I don't disagree but just very frustrating. Browns should have won today. They are every bit as talented as the chiefs. But the difference of this games was unforced mistakes
The difference between a good, veteran team that's been there before and a young one with a second year coach that's trying to get to the mountaintop.

The conference goes through Arrowhead, but I like the Browns' chances of making it through better than any other team in the AFC right now.

Our defense was so predictable (hardly any disguises) that it essentially facilitates perfect play by KC's offense. Getting up and down the field was pretty easy for them all game. Even if Gillan got off the punt, they probably come down and score easily anyway.

I think everyone is happy with the moral victory, but let's see your faces when Tyrod Taylor is completing pass after pass against our soft zone next week.

Against 80% of the teams in the league, we would have seen Case Keenum leading the second unit in the fourth quarter with the game safely in hand.

They were in position to win this in the final minute of the game, despite all the mistakes.

I'm confident that they're going to clean it up.

Yup he caught it. So it's on him as the WR to be stronger than the DB who can't see what he is doing. Or maybe the coaches shouldn't have played him? Your choice either way it's your job as the WR to catch the ball

It's also the DB's job to not let him catch the ball. Is this seriously your argument?

You gonna be in here to eat shit when Taylor throws 3 picks too?

We played soft zone to prevent home run plays. We did for the most part except for that stupid TD by hill.

Honest question. Is there any other team in the league other than KC that you feel like we would've lost to today if we played the same exact way?
Yes

Sometimes your running back fumbles. Sometimes a minor player like your punter swings momentum. It's tough, especially since the Chiefs never made a glaring mistake at any point.

But when the young guys and new guys get more used to the scheme and the NFL, this team will be better. JOK will be able to negate Kelce more easily.

This isn't the end, it's the beginning.

If the Browns play like they did today (turnovers aside) they'll cruise to 11 or 12 wins.

Just gotta clean up the backbreaking mistakes.
