Optimus prime and immediately giving up on the BrownsWhen in doubt, bet your house when this guy comments:
Once Pittsburgh realizes they don't have to throw another pass to win this game, it's going to get ugly. -Optimus Prime
There’s no way this has ever happened before right?Back to Back wins against Pittsburgh and Baltimore. Inject this into my veins!
I agree. And I think our fan base can be insufferable at times when it comes to this. I commented earlier that DTR had a look on his face lacking confidence when they showed him on the sidelines in crunch time, but I don't know the kid. Now seeing his face after the game, I think that look was just extreme concentration mixed in with a little stress, understandable considering the time and place.Honestly, I don't think the play calling and the drops helped DTR at all today. Not disappointed with his performance at all. He looked adequate when we didn't go ultra vanilla and helped him out by catching his admittedly not super accurate throws.
I disagree. Sign Flacco as mentor and stopgap, but keep giving the ball to DTR and let his leash out more each week.Good win...
I respect DTR for coming through in the end...
But yeah... Flacco please. I know he's extremely flawed but he's been there done that and this team needs some of that right now
That’s a game that you only win if you have the #1 defense going up against an inept offenseSeriously though, was that a great game by DTR? No it wasn't. But he did prioritize taking care of the ball, and he came through when it mattered on the 2 minute drill.
Just always expect the worst out of a rookie with two starts, and never expect him to improve with reps. So that's your take? That’s a game that you only win if you have the #1 defense going up against an inept offense
We did that. DTR also answered the call when we needed him most. But let’s lot lipstick the pig on this one. That offense was atrocious. It didn’t need to be better today. It’s pretty reasonable to expect to need it to be later
