Prior to going down 12 and losing DTR, the Browns had 29 pass attempts to 22 rush attempts..

The game script had been fairly even prior to needing to get two scores quick..

Broncos were 16th in drop back EPA, and 6th in rush EPA since Week 6 thus the slight favor to passing the ball early..

On the game, they had a -0.32 EPA on rush plays and and -0.11 EPA on pass plays, so they were actually more effective moving the ball via the pass..

But yes, that 35/23 ratio is much more indicative!
