Week #12 - @Ravens 8:20 pm

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
It was a slug fest and their offense sucked less. We squandered the opening drive with that DPJ drop and Harrison shat down his leg. Two plays, one on each side of the ball, that keep us from talking about a gutsy defensive win and the Ravens wondering if Lamar can ever really be the guy.

Bakers performance today comes down to the film. They buttoned us up in the box, what the receivers were doing matters when evaluating Baker. No way to know for sure what to take away from his performance.

Also. The offense and defense taking turns showing up this season can fuck right off.

Lmao the offense rarely shows up anymore

We’ve scored twenty points once in the last 7 games.

Pathetic.
I know Baker gets a lot of blame for this (rightfully so), but it falls on Stefanski too.

8 carries for Chubb. That has to be at least a misdemeanor, right?

The Ravens aligned 8 on the line of scrimmage and sent another in a delayed run blitz often. Basically gave Baker no respect and he rewarded the in kind. Unfortunately, it's been happening consistently since the Cardinals game. This is the 21st century and the passing game needs to exploit a 1960s defensive scheme.

Issues 1-10 were Mayfield and him being a sad excuse for a QB

fucking Brandon Weeden out there. Don't cut this piece of shit any slack
Not trying to cut him slack but everyone that gets paid waaay more than him fucked up too... off the top of my head.. Landry with 2 drops hooper with 2, Njoku with 1, the awful Felton drop... chubb also couldn't get more carries because damn near everytime qe ran we ended up behind the sticks

Baker is a tough dude and he has a good arm, but he has too many non-injury related limitations for any team he's on to ever win a Super Bowl.

His eyes and processing speed are both too slow and that seems like at best it will marginally improve with more experience considering it's as bad as it's ever been in Year 4.

His footspeed is never going to change.

His inability to step forward in the pocket when there's pressure on the outside is never going to change.

It's just not there. He's not good enough.

the screen is what gets me

ANY QB in the NFL makes that throw for what is likely a touchdown

and ours just pukes all over himself

And I straight up can't forgive that because its just a loser play

Sure.

It boils down to this.

KS is great in advantageous situations. Baker is great in adventageous situations.

League realizes we can’t get to that with Baker, loads the box. Kevin gives Baker the opportunity to throw open the run game.

Baker fails. League continues to 9 the box. Baker continues to fail.

Your QB’s inability to run onto the field without limping now affects how you use your best player, limiting him to 8 carries.

I agree but I also feel like the same should be said for the entirety of the WR room and the tight end room minus Njoku

I guess the small silver lining is at least it’s become all too obvious that Baker is not the guy before we foolishly handed him $300 million. Feels like we dodged a bullet by not signing him in the offseason.

And im with that... the worst part is we are in a shit situation looking at draft and free agency...

Definitely need to find receivers and tight ends that can catch as well in the off season.

8 and 9 in the box most of the game to precisely stop the run
Not when the opponent puts 8+ in the box because Baker is incapable of throwing the ball
I would rather to my chances chances with Chubb and Hunt breaking one running into an 11 player box than watch Baker and these WRs.
