Week 16: Ravens @ Browns

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Dude, the decision was stupid. Doesn’t matter. You don’t convert it’s basically it. No smart coach goes for two until you have to when trailing. So all the other coaches are wrong and our fat coach is right? Because Freddie decides to go for it now, when it makes no sense and puts your team in a big disadvantage if you don’t get it

Scoring the TD basically was for naught thanks to this guy.
I’ve seen Sean Payton do the same thing. I consider him a great coach.

Freddie is gone, but the anger should not be takin out on him for this one. Had the momentum, good play call drawn up, perfect pass, drop by the wide receiver. That’s it.

Hey, cool, we kick the FG and are down 8, Defense still gives up yard after yard and the clock still milks. Find something else to bitch about because that missed 2pt isn't it.

I think Wilks is an idiot, yet even I thought he could come up with something to stop them if they were going to run the ball on every play. Nope. Now they have bleed the clock down and either way it didn't matter.

What momentum? If not for a 4th down penalty we don’t score. The way the game is being played, just makes no sense.

Situation changes; play calling changes; Browns still realistically in it.

Either way...bad drop, bad play call.

Freddie needs to go now.
The current situation of the Browns Defense was never changing in a different direction going forward in this game, Ravens are guaranteed at least 3 and would put us down 11 if we kicked everyones precious FG regardless.

Yes Freddie needs to go tonight, but people up in arms about that 2pt attempt is funny.

Your DC builds a defensive scheme that doesn't care about the run and your GM buys into that too....it doesn't matter what else you put on the field, you get these kind of results week after week.

We drove 80 yds down the field in about 2mins and scored, we had momentum. Your wasting keystrokes trying to make a point like we didn’t. I don’t give a damn if a PI gave us a 2nd chance it’s part of the game.

And Sean Payton was rightfully criticized for it, but he did it when the Saints were winning. Of course Seals should have caught it, but that doesn’t take away From it being a BAD decision that makes zero sense!

What sense does it make going for two there? The answer is zero. Hence Freddie should be blamed!

probably just should of went for the onside kick in hindsight if that is the way or defense will respond..... haha

The theory behind going for 2 makes some sense. You can gameplan around not getting it. If you wait and most likely treat that down 8 drive as the last, it's over with a failure to convert.

That probably doesn't outweigh the deflation in the defense if it's not converted early and certainly gives the offense a different outlook on playcalling.

I'm more pissed about kicking a FG down 21-6 when you haven't been able to stop them. Cutting it from 15 to 12 does very little unless you are pitching a shutout.

I don’t know what game you’re speaking of but I’m referring to Payton doing it when they were down. This was a few years ago.

Oh god imagine Godfather's posts if we missed the 2pt and missed the onside kick, like the Ravens scoring was never going to happen anyways lol.

We got to the point that almost everyone saw the flaw of Wilks weeks ago, yet the team stuck with him. His poor defense has cemented this season.
