Week 16: Ravens @ Browns

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
It has been a big bummer to see Baker take a step back. And now to watch Lamar and the scheme built for him look godly. There is a lot this team needs to work on this off season and Baker is right in the cross hairs there. Maybe less commercials and more football.

I am still terrified that Baker simply is just destined to be Jamarcus Russell, or at least Sam Bradford/Matt Stafford, and we'll have to spend decades more in the wilderness.

At least if he ends up being like the latter two #1 picks, an GOAT-level defense could maybe, possibly, drag him over the top.

He did, though, gain weight like a mini-Jamarcus, and doesn't seem to have his edge.

In all hindsight, they are the best offense in the league and I see guys named Cox Jr on our Dline and I have no idea who he is.

I don’t know what game you’re speaking of but I’m referring to Payton doing it when they were down. This was a few years ago.

Well, excuse me lol.. I don’t remember every game played. Still waiting for your explanation why it’s a good decision going for two there.

Unless you’re telling me taking the risk of not converting, needing to still score twice. And stop the number one rushing team in the league from milking the clock is winning football strategy...

probably just should of went for the onside kick in hindsight if that is the way or defense will respond..... haha

You do realize how bad onside kick recovery rate is this year with the rule changes, right?

We had enough time that it didn't make sense to.

That's the problem with giving up guys like Ogbah and Nassib for basically nothing because someone else drafted them. It looks like Dorsey just wants to get rid of everyone that Sashi Brown drafted except Myles Garrett. I expect Schobert, Njoku, and Higgins to be gone this off-season.

Porter Gustin is also playing all his snaps on the d-line and is somehow listed as a linebacker.

I think they had momentum, saw something on one of the previous plays they liked and thought they had a good play call for it. Which they did.

Also… I still think you can gameplay for it. You know what you have to do in the final eight minutes. Rather than waiting until the last possession of the game and attempting to kick in on sidekick which is extremely low.

Hate to break it to you but the Ravens weren’t changing their offense no matter what we did there. Their #1 passing target and #1 passing back were both out of the game. They were going to pound the ball down our throats either way. If our defense couldn't stop them it doesn’t matter what we did.

Fire his fucking ass immediately

Might as well let them coach the Bengals game so we get better draft position. We don't have that many extra draft picks this year vs the past couple season. It's better to be slotted a couple spots up to hopefully get a Left tackle.

I thought they traded their 1st round pick for OBJ.

We got to the point that almost everyone saw the flaw of Wilks weeks ago, yet the team stuck with him. His poor defense has cemented this season.

Why on earth is every one of your posts about Wilks and his defense when the offense, that has as many legit playmakers as it does, looks so shitty?

Let’s be real. This defense lacks the talent with Garrett and Vernon out. What’s the excuse for the offense?

Even when we did have Garrett and Vernon this defense sucked. Maybe I don't bitch about the offense as much as others but I see the defense as alot worse than the offense. Wilks could have been fired weeks ago without anyone caring or hurting the organization to get another HC. Maybe that gives the team the spark it needed to push into the playoffs.

I didn't see firing Freddie in season as in the cards because he was first year HC. Wilks and Monken could have been fired at anytime without anyone thinking we didn't give them a chance.

I can bitch about the offense too if you want. I've pointed out alot of flaws since the preseason. People got annoyed with that stuff too.
