We honestly should trade Kareem Hunt to see if we can bolster some area of our defense, maybe for a DT. I love Hunt but we don't need him as much as we need somebody who can clog the middle, occupy some gaps, and keep linebackers clean.

We're not going to use him much, we're not going to keep him next year. In this offense running backs aren't valued very highly, and with Watson coming back in another 4 games he'll totally disappear from the play book.

Right now Barkley has a full game's more rushing attempts than Chubb and Henry has 8 more attempts in one fewer games. As for Mixon (who's pretty close to Chubb), if we had Joe Burrow at QB I suspect the play call comments would be different.

Matt Breida is the backup RB behind Saquon. He has 21 total carries this season running behind Saquon. Kareem Hunt has 66 total carries running behind Nick Chubb.

Jacoby Brissette has more rushed this season than Matt Breida.

What are you actually complaining about here? Saquon Barkley does not come off the field and split carries yet he is only averaging 2 more carries per game than Nick Chubb who shares time with Kareem Hunt.

You're not saying anything.
What you saw that last drive not involving your best offensive player is a travesty. Shovel pass to TE, deep pass, both could've easily been a Nick Chubb run and we are living with results right now.

It's a simple point - I believe we are relying too heavily on a backup quarterback to make winning plays and not relying sufficiently on a running back who on his career is averaging more yards per carry than any other running back in NFL history.

In a close game the Ravens had 44 carries to 24 carries for the Browns. 16 pass attempts for Lamar, 27 pass attempts for Jacoby.

The Ravens with the vastly superior QB and with their starting RB injured ran more, and passed less

The Ravens won the game. End of story.

So you're mad because we don't blindly run Chubb on the last drive because he's our best player even though Jacoby passed the ball downfield to get us in FG rage and even threw a TD pass that was called back on a questionable PI?

You're talking like if we would've gave Chubb the ball 3 straight times on the final drive he would've broke a 50 yard run.

Jacoby was 22/27 passing today. He took some crucial sacks and lost a fumble. We dropped back to pass 8 more times then we ran today.

You're nitpicking bruh.

Relax. You're pissed off. We lost 4 in a row.

But you are really trying to outsmart yourself right now.

You're convincing yourself that I'm making an argument that I'm not.

You think we relied on Jacoby too much today? He was 22/27. He lost a fumble. He was sacked 5 times but BAL blew up 5 other running plays in the backfield against our O-Line.

He threw what should've been a go ahead TD late in the game. He drove us down the field after the BAL fumble and put us in position to tie the game. He did the opposite of what he tried to do against ATL, LAC, and NYJ.

10 of those carries were from Lamar Jackson who is literally their entire offensive game plan. You wrote this like we were playing against TB and they ran it 44 times.

I think we rely on him too much in general. Sacks are drive killers. He's had 9 sacks, 3 fumbles and 2 interceptions in just the last two games. Passing the ball took us out of field goal range twice today in a game we lost by 3 points and Chubb averaged his normal 5.7 ypc.
