Yeah, it's like predicting a teenager will get pimples. No duh he probably not going to make it just based on the averages, but he clearly has some talent and basketball skills that can translate up a level. He needs to come stateside next year though.

We have quite the track record on Lukes. There have been ten Lukes in the NBA and FIVE of them played for us (Walton, Witte, Harangody, Jackson and Kornet). All of them had disappointing careers. Walton is the only Luke coach in NBA history and of course he’s a Cavalier coach.

Travers has lower expectations than any of the other Lukes.

I think we’re just obsessed with guys named Luke. Instead of “More Cowbell!“ we get “More Luke!”

Enough already with the Lukes.
